Fat Joe Teams With New Jersey Teenager To Open Sneaker Store

Fat Joe is teaming up with a 19-year-old reseller from New Jersey to open a sneaker store in New York City, according to reports on Sole Collector.

Scotty Spina, who goes by the name of Scotty Kickz, has sold sneakers to some of Hip Hop’s biggest stars, including Jay Z, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, and Future, among a string of others, and now he’s setting up shop with Fat Joe.

Discussing the venture, which opens in September, Fat Joe said: “It’s gonna be a store within a store. It’s gonna be like a museum that no one’s ever done before; this is one of one.”

Spina began reselling in 2013. However things blew up when when he got an Instagram DM from former New York Giant Brandon Jacobs asking him about a pair of shoes. This led to Spina getting more contacts in the industry.

“Teachers were laughing at me saying, ‘You’re not doing anything, you’re just hanging out with the wrong people.'” Spina recalled. “My goal was to prove people wrong and I let that motivate me.”

Spina claims to have already made six figures through reselling but declined to offer an exact amount.

    1. allegedly the pair of shoes that this dude sold rick ross were used to stomp the ears of DJ Vlad together. them 305 boys lumped up dj vlad pretty bad. they beat him like a old Virginia slave. they cleaned his clock real properlike. they sent him back to his broad looking like elephant man. Vlad didn’t even fight back, he contacted authorities and then attempted to sue for 4 mill and only got 300k which is what ross makes in 2 shows

      1. Yeah, I get Rick Ross won that battle. But you have to think why him and his goons attacked DJ Vlad of all people, but refrain from getting into real street brawls with other hardened rappers. No one gets points from beating Vlad down.

      1. Haha! I googled it and the search brought up 20 worst celeb clothing lines that failed. He was 19 lol! Had no idea he had a line back in the day.

        1. Hahahaha. Damn, that ain’t right. Thos FJ560 snorkels were dope, they just didn’t come in my size.
