I think Wayne’s lyrics are a lot better now as far as creativity. His content back in the Carter days was probably more relevant and able to relate to, but he wasn’t saying anything that would wow you. His verse on A$AP Rocky’s “‘M’s” is a perfect example of how he has evolved as a lyricist.
