In honor of the Golden State Warriors’ NBA Championship, Bay Area Rap collective Hieroglyphics has created a commemorative T-shirt.
The blue T-shirt has the Warriors logo combined with the Hieroglyphics logo on the front. The yellow circle has the Golden Gate bridge and the three dots and horizontal bar imprinted on it.
The shirt is available for $30 on Hieroglyphics’ website.
The group is also hosting a celebration tomorrow (June 19) at The Legionnaire in Oakland for a Wax Poetic old school Hip Hop night.
Pretty cuffin dope
Perhaps the author should get his facts straight with regards to the subject of his article.
Both the Warriors team logo and the subsequent Hieroglyphics mashup feature the EASTERN SPAN OF THE BAY BRIDGE.
I’d wager that worldwide, anyone seeing the above photo would immediately know they weren’t looking at the very familiar art deco silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge. Which comes nowhere near Oakland, the longtime current home of the Warriors.
I suggest that you pay some attention to your subject matter next time, perhaps by actually looking at it.
