Hot Boy Turk has served a new summons to his former label Cash Money Records, according to AllHipHop.
The summons is the latest legal document Turk has handed over to Cash Money, following a $1.3 million lawsuit, in which the rapper is requesting a return on his royalties since the late ’90s.
AHH was able to obtain a copy of Turk’s summons. According to the site, it states that both Cash Money and Money Mack Music are required to respond to Turk’s pending lawsuit. Each imprint has 21 days – from the date it was issued – to contact Turk’s attorney regarding the grievance.
Turk told AHH, “If they don’t answer by March 11, it will be declared a default judgement.”
Cash Money is currently facing charges from Turk and Lil Wayne, at the moment. Each member of the Hot Boyz (Juvenile, B.G. Turk, Lil Wayne) has sued the company for issues concerning lack of payment.
