Throughout her career, the word extreme has often been used to describe Nicki Minaj.
Now, the characteristic seems even more suitable.
The X Games has announced that Nicki will perform during its annual summer games in Austin, Texas, June 4-7.
“I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget,” Minaj said.
Nicki may not be an expert at the events – which includes a mixture of skateboarding, BMX and motocross – but she has ridden a dirt bike before.
Two years ago, she rode behind Meek Mill on his dirt bike in the music video for “I B On Dat.”
Talib Kweli, Pennywise and Deltron 3030 are also scheduled to perform at the ESPN event, as well.
