    1. Every track on this cd is gonna be fire! cop the real shit fuck drake,50 cent, gucci mane, wacka flocka…

    2. YOU JR.GONG’s verses were Insane!!! real talk listen to it again and really LISTEN! TRUTH! Yo, what a delivery he had!!! fuk man hes coming from greatness but damn still that was just too nasty, beats crazy too real talk.

    3. Love this song…fire!!!!!!! nas and Damiana are to dope!!!! I’m just blown away by this album!!!!

    4. I’m definitely going to support this album. Everything I’ve heard thus far has sounded great to me. What I enjoy about the music most is that it has substance. Far to often I hear songs that I nod my head to but forget about the following week. The music that Nas & Damian Marley are making can last the hands of time.

      1. agree. unfortunately, you know best hip hop collab will to some bullshit like young money. best hip hop artist will go to em or drake. best hip hop album will go to bob or luda or something…

i miss the 90s when real hip hop like this wouldve been appreciated by the mainstream…

      2. yea unfortunately I’m wishful thinking. I know that the Grammys dont know a damn thing about hiphop

    5. I’m not actually listening to this or anymore leaks. I’ve heard about 5 fire tracks and I wanna save some reward for coughing up my $12

    6. If you don’t purchase, that’s PURCHASE, this album. You are a waste of a life.

Damian and Nas are keeping it real big time. Can’t wait for the album.

      1. none.this man is the best lyricist i ever heard. anybody can talk that tough talk.anybody can talk knowledge.anybody can rap like jay- z (at least try to). but nobody can do it the way nas does.it’s hard to explain. guy is on some next level shit for real.always accurate when he spits. but nas ain’t for these “young, tight assed jeans wearing, so-called hood jerkoffs” on this site. just telling the truth.
p.s. not dissing hip hop fans over 25

      2. ….and to ya’ll young ass jerks, pull ya fuckin pants up,nobody wanna see you in ya shit stained draws, man. shit is fucking gross. and cut it out with them tight ass jeans. swear u need helium for them shits….

    7. I don’t understand how people can say Jay-Z is better than Nas
Lyrically Nas has annihilated every album since Illmatic
And now in 2010 he’s still dropping crazy material like it was just yesterday i saw his short ass in that crappy halftime video
This album will easily be another classic
Damian is amazing as usual the chemistry with nas is still unacanny

      Distant Relatives=(2010) Balckstar!

      1. yea but jay was great for the pop scene… totally agree tho, to me Nas is the true king of this shit… but jay was great at dumbing shit down for the public to eat up! and thats just how he got the masses…

      2. i completely agree. jay is the better businessman and knows how to sell himself. but when it comes to pure lyrics, there is no comparison. nas is a top 2 rapper ever (between him and rakim), jay is arguably a top 20.

    8. FUCK THIS SHIT ! YOUNG MONEY WILL MURDER THIS BEAT ANYDAY AND TURN IT INTO CLASSIS SHIT . NAS AND DAMIEN MADE THIS TRACK BORING !

      1. homeboy FUCK YOUNG MONEY… get ur wack ass comments outta here! This is some conscious REAL shit… roger that? oh 94, im guessing thats the year you were born… makes a lot of sense now! do u kid..

      2. young money… lol, carry on listening to that shit, all there tunes are fukin meaningless… as for nas and damien marley don’t listen to it if you don’t like…. simple as that for your simple ass.

      3. shut up. noone cares what your wack ass thinks. go listen to some more bubblegum dumb down bullshit. when you want to listen to music that actually has more meaning than corny ass punchlines then come talk to me

      4. fuck young money. he doesnt even belong in this track with these guys cuz he would have made it sound like shit. this shit is deep so listen to the words sometime rather then worrying about what kind of music your boyfriend listens to

      5. you are one ignorant bomboclaat! Go suck yuh mumma. Marley fi life. Biggup Nas everytime

    9. I can’t wait anymore. I wish this shit would drop today. Gotta be the real “Best of both worlds”.

    10. IMAGINE PAC featuring on this album… IT would have been epic .. Its still hard as hell.. But puting Pacs knowledge and rawness in it would been the shittest shiit 😛

    11. WOW REALLY CANT WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM.AS THE SINGLES RELEASE THE MORE I WANT THE ALBUM NASTRADAUMUS IS JUST A BEASTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

    12. songs hot album gunna be dope no doubt havent heard a song yet i dont like..still not album of the year tho..i think recovery might take that prize..

      1. Co-sign.

This album will be good, but I think Em will be on another level entirely. Recovery will be the Album of the Year.

      2. Em hasn’t made a good album since 2003.

Wtf are you white boys on?? lol

Even Em said replase was wack – and you white ppl made it the most sold record –

Stop looking at sales and listen to the music.

Nas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Em – on any track, any day of the week.

      3. swordz: cosign

nas is on a completely different level than em when em was actually good. now he just shits on him.

and im waiting more than one decent song to say em is back to his old self too…

    13. This is garbage Nas is washed up……..this album will not sell enough for Nas to pay off his child support………….this sounded like Hindu music…….all you niggas are lying if you think this is hot

      1. Douche Boy,

still ignorant as ever and still got a hard on for 50 that causes you to hate Nas cuz he bodied 50 with one line on Queens Get the Money

“my assignment since he said retirement
hiding behind 8 Mile and The Chronic
        Gets rich but dies rhyming”

      2. “this one’s for the people” – maybe you aint one of them, and take it personal when he says people is ignorant and scared of the truth, talkin to niggas like you.

      3. You clearly don’t know rap. If you did, you would love this. The verses are deep, something you could relate to. Not like gucci mane talking about drinking lemonade with his shirt up.

    14. damn.. get it, get it! i gotta cop this ablum cause its something epic… just a bit of the different out there coming from the yesterdays… look at B.o.B moving units its all about the subject matter which is coming back around… i hope, i pray it comes full circle, but whether gold or platinuim plague they did what they did outta the heart which is what matter first… trueness, virtue! nas said a mouthful its about keeping pushing music further and raising the kids,,, fuck the rest

    15. I wish these songs weren’t leaking, but shits dope. I’ll buy the album regardless to leaking

    16. these guys are crazy together. Its a good song with a nice rythm and nas just kills it. Props go out to nas and damien…this song is one of the best i have heard

    17. its a shame music as beautiful as this will never be heard outside of the small niche in which it exists, mainstream music needs to smarten up. I’m hoping this shit gets a lot of exposure, and it deserves quite a lot

    18. Good shit !!!!! Breath of fresh air…Nas’s incomplete Versus still annoys me tho’..He always seems like he reads half the book 2 me

    19. Don’ sleep on Damian Marley just droped the verse of the year IMO.

      Are we born not knowing?
      Or we born knowing all?
      Are we growing wiser?
      Or we just growing tall?
Can you read thoughts? Can you read palms?
Can you predict the future? Can you you see storms, coming?
The earth was flat if you went too far you would fall off
Now the earth is round if you scared of the edge, everybody woulda start laugh
The average man cant prove most of the things that he chooses to speak of
And still now we search and find out the root of the truth that you seek of
Scholars teach in universities and claim that they smart and cunning
Tell them find a cure when we sneeze and that’s when their nose start running
And the rich get stitched up when they get cut
Man a heal them broken bones in the bush with the wet mud
Can you read signs? Can you read stars?
Can you make peace? Can you fight war?
Can you milk cows, even though you drive cars?
Can you survive against all odds now?

this deep verse>>>> Not Afraid and i like Em as an MC.

      1. It’s good, but not verse of the year LOL! This album will be GREAT!

      2. he saying some real shit. i caught it in the song, but didnt get the whole thing. thanks for posting the lyrics. lol, not sure if its verse of the year. but this is def one of the best songs of the year thus far. album will be a classic no doubt. too much blood finna be spilled on these tracks.

        anywho,

CHECK ME OUT. I PROMISE GREAT MUSIC. IT’S A PROMISE!

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdylMPXtisY

      3. Damian’s lyrics are the shit.

I had Nas and Damian albums before this but I think many more will get up on Damian after this

      4. he said “now the earth is round if the shape change again, then everybody woulda start laugh/” then “still won’t research and find out the root of the truth that you seek of”… whole West Indies stand up , this one big!

    20. omg…i cant wait for this to drop now…all the leaks have been amazing. These are songs I can’t get tired of!…INSTANT CLASSIC!!!!

      1. I know what you mean but don’t worry…it will be fine! Don’t get upset! This album will do just what it needs to do!

      1. I know what you mean but don’t worry…it will be fine! Don’t get upset! This album will do just what it needs to do!

    21. Nas is great I like how he makes quality music and actually takes the time to have his lyrics mean shit..
On the other hand I think Eminem is a better artist. Eminem just got the whole package. Em delivers spits nuts word play metaphores amazing substance.

I love both artists but Eminem is deff doing bigger things. No disrepect to NAS

there both top 5 dead or alive

      1. hmmm.. i see your point, but if we do compare all of nas work to all of em’s work, i think nas got him beat by a milestone. in fact, i would go so far as to say that nas is one of eminem’s inspirations. i think he even said it. listen to his song till i collapse.. i think in the third verse he names nas as one of his favorite rappers of all time.

        anywho,

CHECK ME OUT. I PROMISE GREAT MUSIC. IT’S A PROMISE!

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdylMPXtisY

      2. yea nas isz one of emsz favsz n 1a hisz biggest influencesz but nas hasznt accomplished more den em…em isz da best sellin rap artist of ALL TIME…any1 whosz eva rapped.thnk bout dat.em isz sick on songsz.freestylesz.featuresz.anythn…i aint sayin nas aint great cusz he damn sure 1a my favesz but na em got him beat…biggie.pac.em.big l…top mcsz

      3. Correction Pac is the best selling MC all time. and one of the topselling artists worldwide all time.

      4. stop comparing them. They both have widely different styles and are best at what they do.

        Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Eminem.

No need to compare or line them up.

      5. tidaking…i may be wrong with what you said cause it is hard as fuck to read. but i think you said em is better cause he is the best selling artist of all time. and im telling you that is the WORST way to measure skill. im not saying ems bad, but that is a terrible measuring stick. if we went by that:

        soulja bitch>kool g
        weezy> nas
        plies>rakim
        boosie>krs

        etc.

    22. Wow. Nas delivers another dope verse yet again. But Damian steals the show this time. We all know Nas is GOAT musically but folks sleeping on Damian. His Jamrock classic album shits on lots of rap albums. Please stop the comparing now- Em, Jay, Busta, many of the good mcs. Nas is simply on another level.

This album really shows that they’ve put time into it. It sounds on a different level. Just from the leaked tracks alone, its sounding like an early Album of the Year nominee.

    23. This music that they’re making is fucking amazing… I just hope that all the leaks dont mess these two up… everyone must buy this shit. timeless.

      1. It won’t the reviews are great and I do feel that everyone will support! this music is definitely grammy worthy and there is always music or an album that comes along that reaches across the glob and I beleive this album is definitely IT!

      1. travis raisanen smells funny and his parents dress him wierd. hes fat and noone likes him.

    24. nas = Rakim

      JR. = his father
one of the best songs i ever heard in music history JR. was great but NAS was wow he really spit on this track. Damn y couldn’t they get Rakim on this one or KRS that would have been even more ill but i still love this one

      1. i agree with the nas rakim thing,,, totally… always felt that way 100%,,,,, and damian is def building his legacy strong like his fathers

    25. This album will hopefully be the start of a revolution in hip-hop.

This album will be talked about 25 years from now hopefully as the savior of hip hop.

      1. So EDUB please expand, instead of shooting people down with no justification, so just hit pause on your Soulja Boy & Young Money cd’s punk bitch

    26. The longest and strongest legacy in this rap game.

      Nasir Jones, Best Rapper Alive

    27. two of the BEST second generation musicians EVER to bless any mic….son of Bob Marley….greatest reggae singer EVER and son of one of THE best jazz artists….coming together to SAVE hip hop from the Weezy and other bullshit era!! Thank you god and Jr. Gong!!

    28. OOOOOMMMMGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS TRULY IT!!!! THANK U NAS AND DAMIAN MARLEY!……………

    29. DO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THERE IS 6 MICS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY? RHETORICAL – ? MAYBE… BUT, NO ARTIST HAS EVER BROKE OVER 5 MICS! –INCLUDING NASIR JONES, TIMES 2(ILLMATIC & STILLMATIC). BUT, THIS ALBUM MIGHT BE THE FIRST 6 DEGREES THAT CONNECTS ALL OF US AROUND THE GLOBE. WHY? BECAUSE, “6 DEGREES” EQUALS “DISTANT RELATIVES”, DO THE KNOWLEDGE.

    30. Niggas in my hood knew Nas would be the greatest 17 years ago. This is a great song. I hope this album gets the support it deserves. One great album is worth a thousand of the frisbees that hit the stores and brainwash the kids every tuesday.

    31. Need to even this out a little , you guys are really dickriding both of them … They both are very good at what they do , but shuting your minds off to other people’s opinions and think yours are the only right ones when it comes to this is rediculous. .. For example personally I can’t stand nas , and Lupe would run circles around him hands down … Both Lupe and Em actually …
This WILL NOT be anywhere near the greatest album of the year , or any crazy homer stuff like that … Stop blowing it up to be more than it really is , a pretty good album . That is all .

      1. your fucking dumb “Drizzy” first off cause your name is reppin drake one of the biggest pussies in the game secondly for trying to say lupe and em would run circles around nas. dont get me wrong lupe is my favorite and probably the most intellegent emcee right now but his lifelong idol is Nas. and he most certianly would not “rap circles” around him thats not his style. and as far as Em goes you cant even compare the two. Eminem raps completely different than Nas, but theyre both great in what they do. the concept on his album is too deep for a dumb fuck drake fan like youself to even understand so just roll the fuck out and keep your comments to yourself.

      2. DRIZZY ,
your not a Nas fan. thats all there is to it. thats cool, it’s your opinion, but recognize that that makes you a minority among hiphop fans. deal with it.

        Nas > _________

      3. and Em has crazy skill, but hasn’t made that many great albums.

Lupe is nice, but he is many years and albums away from being in a conversation with Nas

      4. DRIZZY,
are you fucken retarded if you gave this a two, you mine as well not listen to hip hop, because you don’t have a clue what good music is.
nas is one of the best rappers alive, and this album will definitely be in competition for the album of the year.

p.s. is DRIZZY your name because you wanna suck off drake?

    32. your fucking dumb “Drizzy” first off cause your name is reppin drake one of the biggest pussies in the game secondly for trying to say lupe and em would run circles around nas. dont get me wrong lupe is my favorite and probably the most intellegent emcee right now but his lifelong idol is Nas. and he most certianly would not “rap circles” around him thats not his style. and as far as Em goes you cant even compare the two. Eminem raps completely different than Nas, but theyre both great in what they do. the concept on his album is too deep for a dumb fuck drake fan like youself to even understand so just roll the fuck out and keep your comments to yourself

      1. Gumbi is my nigga, drake would probably rap better if he took the dick out of his mouth. and lupe is by far the freshest and is my favorite too but your right nas is way to crazy that you cant even compare the two.

    33. anyone that talks shit about nas must be really stupid and knows nothing about rap.dude is sick.at 37 he is still relevant and i rocks with him cos he is hiphop

    34. May 25th is The Title You Expected @ DeeDotMillz…Sorry The instrumental is fucking slammin

    35. damn this is some shit right here..jr gong is better than 90% of all MC’s out right now, jus wish yall dudes understood what he was saying..and Nas is back to top 5 status

    36. Garbage. I wanna hear Nas and Jay do an album, not Jr Gong. All this says to me is “Hey, we’re two stoners. Let’s do an album together. It was would cool. Huh Huh Huh.”

    37. BIG TUNE !!! nothing but real talk in this song, radio needs to play more songs like this…. It’s time to open your mind people.

      1. yeah i feel the same way…..but I’ve given up on that because kids just seem to be into whats hot at the moment….so many great artists that actually have meaning and quality behind the music don’t get any airplay…..

    38. Wow…
this is my favorite track out at the moment…
been having it on repeat all day.

They should have put Lupe Fiasco on the album…

to have the two of the greatest lyricist this hip hop game has ever seen on the same track would be magical.

      1. true FSFDSFDS. and Damian doesn’t do strictly reggae. He’s been influenced by hiphop since day one. look up ‘toasting’. it’s where hiphop began. Kool Herc from Kingston Jamaica moved from kingston Jamaica to Bronx NYC and the rest is history….

so this album makes perfect sense

    39. GAAHHHDAAAMMMMN!

      Ish is VISCIOUS!

      Wow…..just wow

Nas and Damian at the Grammys = Problem

    40. For sure my favortie song that they’ve leaked out so far. This is what I’m talking about. For real, definately the product of these two dudes getting together and making a track.

    41. first off this is an unreal song just brilliant, credit for both nas and damien cause the album is gonna be legendary. secondly im gettin sick of people comparing rappers! all the best rappers are diffrent in there own way so just appreciate them all instaed of criticising them know what i mean. and i mean real rappers like nas and eminem not drake and soulja boy!

      1. Cosign! This is nice, I smoked 2 this song man……..I give mad respect 2 the legends and not these new cats (except the following…. Lupe, Kid, Jay Elect)cuz they don’t knw how 2 tell storys like the old school rappers used 2. But this is my opinion and hate it or love it……..It’s mine!!!!!!!

      2. thts wat im talkin about 4real.. every1 good in they own way.. every1 didnt grown up the same way n see the same things so just except the music n b happy yu got ppl willin 2 put music out 4 yu.. n i maniac85 i think imma have 2 smoke 2 this 2 lol

    42. song is amazing. best damien has sounded on this album so far. and nas been on point on every single off Distant Relatives

    43. Individually they are at the top of their genre, together they are almost prophets with a message of Greatness Livity n Overstanding. Blessings to all KING OF KINGS.

    44. tryin get paper gotta have land gotta have a acres so i can sit back like jack nicholson n watch niggas play the game like lakers.. LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH MESSAGES THT YU CAN FIND

    45. WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO ARGUE ABOUT WHO’S BETTER? EVERYTIME I READ THE COMMENTS ON THESE SONGS, I SEE THE SAME SHIT. HIP HOP “KNOW IT ALLS” CLAIMING THEY KNOW WHO THE BEST RAPPER IS, AND WHO WILL BEAT WHO. SHUT THE FUCK UP , THAT BEEF SHIT IS FOR DUMMIES. HOPEFULLY AT LEAST SOME OF YOU UNDERSTAND THESE ARTISTS ALL HAVE THEIR RESPECTIVE STYLES AND IF YOURE JUST BLAST EVERY SONG POSTED ON HERE, YOU SHOULD JUST START YOURE OWN RAP CAREER AND SEE HOW IT GOES.

      1. Someone who speak the truth, some people have the lamest reasons why they dont like certain rappers. stay in ur own lane

    46. ok im the biggest eminem fan and i think recovery will be the biggest and best album of the year

with that being said, doesnt anyone feel like this distant relatives album is flying under everyones radar.

i think this could be a timeless classic, i mean just look at this song, its wat rap was supposed to be, fuck this commercial bullshit.

this song is timeless, sensible, emotional still think recovery will be best album of the year but damn def gonna buy distant relatives if it sounds like this

    47. This is gonna be the album of the century….give it up to nas and damian, no one compares to nas ma niggas, no one

    48. can’t compare different artist that aren’t in the same field

Deep = Nas/Jedi Mind (saigon only on warning shots)
      Passion/hatred = Eminem
      chillin = BIG
      lyrical poet = Lupe/Tupac
      Funny = Lil Wayne/Eminem
mindless Drunkeness = Soldier boy/ commercial garb
      Story Tellin = Eminem/Styles/Jedi Mind/ Immortal Technique
      Gangsta = Tupac/Wu Tang/NWA
      Funk/groove = Snoop
      head bouncing music = Busta
Different genres of rap. can’t compare

      1. non sense : waka flocka/gucci mane/oj da juiceman/soulja boy
        irrelevant : waka flocka/oj da juiceman/soulja boy/young money
gay rap : Lil B (maybe B is for Bitch…who knows)

      2. exactly thats the point am tryin to make all the best rappers have there own style i disagree with the rappers u put for some of the styles for example 2 pac would defo be under-deep-. but yeah ur right

      3. how you gonna say lyrical/poet and not include Nas.

        good call with Busta tho

and BIG wasn’t all that chill. mostly dark and grimey tales of crack dealer in Brookyln
Biggie was one of the greatest stroytellers.

Outkast fits into every genre you listed except ‘mindless Drunkeness’, so what do we call them?

“Respect is mandatory, end of the story, go fly a kite,
category, ain’t got none, you know I’m right ”
        -Andre 3K

      4. I like your point alot.

Some disagreement, though: Nas belongs in story telling, no question, dude can tell a story in a verse like few can (listen to “”Get Down)

    49. Reminded me of Rwanda with the children soldiers. It is so true, but truly, where injustice is seen in the public in one country, injustice in another country is committed behind closed doors. Where we have children in Africa killing, we have children in America killing. we have children in Africa raped, we have children in America raped. Technology did not stop cruelty. We are not always a elevated society.

    50. Top five dead or alive your lists are bugging me count myself Twice the rest of slaughterhouse the other three “Crooked I”
People always trying to compare rappers that shouldnt be compared. This is an art style and every art has variaties. You wouldnt compare impressionism with Surrealism. The problem with hiphop/rap is that it hasnt been broken down into catergories correctly you cant sit there and argue that cats like Chino XL and Gucci Mane are the same art form but they arent. Sure not all forms of art or music are for everyone but you cant act like they are in the same game. To me Chino and Gucci are as different as Basketball and Baseball sure they both are played with balls but thats about it. Sure they both say some sort of rymes over a beat but they are not the same.

    51. I wasnt gonna cop this album until I heard this trak!! WOW Im not a fan of either being real, but good music is good music and this is great!

    52. Its so easy to Hate but much harder to appreciate and complement. It really bothers me when i Hear great songs like this and all i see in the comments is not about how good the song is but How garbage other rappers and artist that had no involvemt in the creation of the song are. This track features no Lil Wayne, Solider Boy or any so called new school artist that many of you are so prone to hate so why then is their name mentioned.

The real reason The type of Hip Hop you guys Like is slipping away is not Because of the New artist. Its because, All the time you could spend praising, appreciating and complementing GOOD MUSIC, you spend Hating on Other Artist, And if you know anything about Marketing An publicity whether good or bad is STILL Publicity.

APPRECIATE GOOD MUSIC, STOP HATING ON OTHER ARTIST ITS A WASTE OF TIME.

    53. This song is absolutely amazing, listen to the lyrics people…Damian kills 2nd verse.
      I hope they sell..

    54. Huh, we born not knowing, are we born knowing all?
We growing wiser, or are we just growing tall?
Can you read thoughts? can you read palms?
Huh, can you predict the future? can you see storms, coming?
The Earth was flat if you went too far you would fall off
Now the Earth is round if the shape change again everybody woulda start laugh
The average man can’t prove of most of the things that he chooses to speak of
And still won’t research and find out the root of the truth that you seek of
Scholars teach in Universities and claim that they’re smart and cunning
Tell them find a cure when we sneeze and that’s when their nose start running
And the rich get stitched up, when we get cut
Man a heal dem broken bones in the bush with the wet mud
Can you read signs? can you read stars?
Can you make peace? can you fight war?
Can you milk cows, even though you drive cars? huh
Can you survive, Against All Odds, Now?

      1. ridiculous.
Damian’s lyrics makes lil Wayne’s look like Dr. Seuss.

nah …. Dr. Seuss > Wayne most of the time

    55. 56. This is fuckin sick. Spacious beat. Damian’s vocals are amazing, as is that sample. Dope.

    57. i like this. I welcome nas’s music now, he seems more authentic and has a msg. to say within his music. I would like to see more original creativity. He says hip-hop is dead, and i have come to terms that there is some truth to that as the genre is slowly dying, but if he feels that way, why doesn’t he make more creativly inspiring music thats ‘different/never-been-done-before’ to raise the bar and evolve the genre?

I like the track, very chillin…

    58. JUST BOUGHT THE CD TODAY….THE BEST CD PURCHASE IN 2 YEARS…..BIG UPS TO DAMIAN AND NAZ…….KEEP IT COMING….WE HEAR U !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    59. FINALLY some real hip hop. Thank you Nas. I thought hip hop was on life support with the Bull thats in the industry now. With artists losing the main focus of hip hop by having no message. But i guess niggaz now a days just want to snap their fingers and shake the ass instead of thinking and focus on the message

    69. Some of the smartest dummies
Can’t read the language of Egyptian mummies
An’ a fly go a moon
And can’t find food for the starving tummies
Pay no mind to the youths
Cause it’s not like the future depends on it
But save the animals in the zoo
Cause the chimpanzee dem a make big money
This is how the media pillages
On the TV the picture is
      Savages in villages
And the scientist still can’t explain the pyramids, huh
Evangelists making a living on the videos of ribs of the little kids
Stereotyping the image of the images
And this is what the image is
      You buy a khaki pants
And all of a sudden you say a Indiana Jones
An’ a thief out gold and thief out the scrolls and even the buried bones
Some of the worst paparazzis I’ve ever seen and I ever known
Put the worst on display so the world can see
And that’s all they will ever show
So the ones in the west
      Will never move east
And feel like they could be at home
Dem get tricked by the beast
But a where dem ago flee when the monster is fully grown?
Solomonic linage whe dem still can’t defeat and them coulda never clone
My spiritual DNA that print in my soul and I will forever Own Lord

real shit niggas, a true 5 star

    70. Who wrote the Bible? Who wrote the Qur’an?
And was it a lightning storm
That gave birth to the earth
And then dinosaurs were born? damn
Who made up words? who made up numbers?
And what kind of spell is mankind under?
Everything on the planet we preserve and can it
      Microwaved it and try it
No matter what we’ll survive it
      What’s hu? what’s man? what’s human?
Anything along the land we consuming
      Eatin’, deletin’, ruin
      Trying to get paper
Gotta have land, gotta have acres
So I can sit back like Jack Nicholson
Watch niggas play the game like the lakers
In a world full of 52 fakers
      Gypsies, seances, mystical prayers
You superstitious? throw salt over your shoulders
Make a wish for the day cuz
Like somebody got a doll of me
      Stickin’ needles in my arteries
      But I can’t feel it
Sometimes it’s like ‘pardon me, but I got a real big spirit’
      I’m fearless…. I’m fearless
Don’t you try and grab hold of my soul
It’s like a military soldier since seven years old
I held real dead bodies in my arms
Felt their body turn cold, oh
Why we born in the first place
If this is how we gotta go?
      Damn.

Nas went in..for real… BUY THE ALBUM IF YOU CAN

      1. pure intelligence Nas is amazing he has so much to give, a Jr Rakim they need to do a track together

    71. This album surpassed my expectations! And these are probably me two favorite living artists
The substance, the musicality, the vibe and soul is beautiful. I literally listen over and over.
It’s not what I expected, but I FKIN LOVE IT and I hope they dont stop with this. One thing Im thinking is to ADD another member, to expand on the “we’re all distant relatives” concept. Maybe a singer from anbother country or something. Mabye add K’naan, he was a great addition on the two tracks

    72. I can’t stop listening to this album. Jr. Gong is a complete beast. Albums like this are rare.

    73. this album is crazy!! props to both jr gong and nasir for this one! but, nas its time for one more gutter, illmatic feeling album… how about u and dj premier link up and do an entire album together like you were talking about a year ago. lets make it happen!

      Patience!!!

(When you feed people the truth you don’t know how they are going to react…………..so i can sit back and chill like Jack Nicholson and watch the Lakers)

      Absolutely Sick!!!

This album is a Five Star Classic!!!
