New Music Video: Kat DeLuna ‘Push Push’ feat. Akon…
Dominican Pop songstress Kat Deluna has finally premiered her music video for ‘Push Push’, and it features Akon. The song is lifted from her oft-delayed album ‘Inside Out’, which is set to hit stores later this year. Meanwhile, check out the video for it below:
The David Guetta-produced cut was released well over two months ago so it feels like we’ve been waiting a space age for the video to drop. After her previous (and very underwhelming) singles ‘Unstoppable’ and ‘Dance Bailalo’ failed to impact the chart, the singer is hoping to strike it lucky with the dance-infused single.

I remember when she first came out and she was getting compared to Rihanna because they were about the same age and they had that Pop/R&B blend with the Island influences going on with their music. I really thought Kat was going to explode because she has a very extended vocal range and her first album was shocking very good! So, I’m not understanding why she isn’t blowing up.

As for the clip itself, it should be noted that she’s on the same record label as Kelly Rowland so a recession special was almost imminent. Actually, I wouldn’t even call this a recession special. More like shoe-string production in this case. Rocking outfits designed by Christian Siriano in a room full of parallel mirrors is not going to make it look high maintenance or extroadinary.

I wish Kat all the luck in the world…but this video looks like a cheap knock off of Rihanna;s S.O.S video.
The song does not have that ‘Push’ to get the publics attention. Very medioce at best. Akon does do a nice job with part though…but Kat’s leg on his is not sexy at all. it just looks like a little girl trying to play dress up and trying to be Beyonce in “Upgrade You’ or Ciara in ‘Ride’. nice try though.
I am surprised that David Guetta produced this…beacause it is not that good. I hope David does not turn into a Timberland and use silly beats and hooks to trick people into thinking it’ a good song just because his name is on the track.
‘Dance Bailalo’ was a track that was on fiah! Why in the world they did not ‘Push’ that track instead of this lame one is beyond me. if ‘Dance Bailalo’ had a rocking video and promoted along with the World Cup, Kat would have had the world’s attention and dancing at her command.What a waste of a hot track.

^Maybe it’s just one of Guetta’s budget specials? You know, save the best for the people putting down the most cash. Or maybe it’s one of the songs he was going to delete but kept…
The song is a flatline: it goes nowhere and starts the way it finishes. The video was the same. Her face reminds me of an elf. She can look cute but not in this video, sorry. I kept focusing on her face. The blue outfit with the trousers/pants was very nice. What kind of dancing was that? She did proper dancing in her other videos so what’s with the laziness here?

Yeah, I honsetly don’t see her album ‘Inside Out’ seeing the light of day. If it hasn’t released by now then it won’t release. Anyways, the video isn’t all that great. It was very low budgeted and screamed RECESSION! And the worst part about is that the song isn’t all that great either. You would think since the song wasn’t great, she’d atleast have a music video to carry it but again, look at what label she’s signed to. Pitiful.
