not allowing them to build a mosque would break one of the main points of our constitution- freedom of religon…
It’s not a mosque, it’s a cultural center, with basketball courts and a daycare, with a prayer area. Basically a community center.
And prior to 9/11 there was already a pretty established muslim community in the area, even a prayer center just blocks from ground zero.
