      1. Damn man. Either you work for Lupe, are related to Lupe, ARE Lupe, or you belong in the Dick Riders Hall of Fame.

      1. Wow how the fuck do you know he’s talking about 50 cent, even if he was it would be so subliminal you wouldn’t be able to tell…no where did he mention anything specific about ghetto qu’ran or 50 cent. There are too many dumb ass rap fans.

    1. lol but you know I am rather enjoying the guy snappin on the gov’t secrets all over the world that Wiki leaks whistler blower is awesome, finally the gov’t and the banks have someone straight real talkin them. So im gonna say Julian Assange, please keep the banking and governmental systems in check and keep bring it cuz no one has courage like you do!

    2. i wish someone could grab nas and be like yo mother fucker you got the talent to put out a mega album now get theme stick to it and rap to ur fullest ur one of the greatest this was great to hear him

    3. First, the song itself. The beat is fresh. His flow is ill. He seems like he’s being real creative with his flow, tryin’ different structures and shit, that’s cool. Nas is still nasty with the rhyme.

As far the content of the song. All this ‘I hate a snitch’ shit is played out. We get it. It’s not cool to snitch. The thing about songs like this that bother me is that all these niggas would snitch if their back was against the wall and they thought for one second that they might lose their fortune. The singing part of the hook was wack, sounded off-key to me. The dude talking at the end of the song, totally unnecessary.
Put it like this, since it’s Nas, it’s better than 90% of everything else that comes out. But if I made a mixtape of 500 Nas songs, this wouldn’t be on it.

      1. maybe he is snitch lol that why we made the song. anyway why those it feel like nas is going back to it was writen level. 37 years old and still talking about kid shit.

    4. Four albums in ten years nigga? I can divide
That’s one every let’s say two, two of them shits was due
One was – NAHHH, the other was “Illmatic”
That’s a one hot album every ten year average

      nas where yo album at?

      1. For real. It’s pretty much hiphop science that ether > the takeover. If u think otherwise it would be like saying u don’t believe in evolution…its science.

    5. Elzhi still better than Nas this ok tho chorus is Whack nas should’ve cut the singers part out

    6. Lame content. This is my problem with Nas he brings himself back to the crowd with this foolishness too much but he still one of my all time favorite rappers.

      1. bf i got your back bruh. The new artists do music a hell of a lot better, all the old folks can listen to this whack ass shit. this aint the 90’s step your game up Nas or retire god damn!

      2. …Go listen to the shit you disguise as music then listen to every Nas album. After you finish I guarantee you will want to kill yourself after making such a silly comment. Name one person who came out around his time and is now proclaimed as thee Greatest Rapper Alive. Only Nas, bruh.

      1. l Will, Flip-mooode!
I’m the enigma, there is none harder, smarter
Martyr, Godfather, my interest, your departure
Pardon Dre this beat is a monster, catchy
Like sleepin under open windows that’s drafty
Then wakin up my throat scratchy, that’s how I spit it nasty

    7. Yo nas is like like my number 2 or 3 rapper but I dont think he did this beat justice with his concept, snitching is simple doesnt take a whole lot to describe the man who is a snitch. Listen to the beat it speaks of bigger things. The track sounds good though so 4

    8. Track is hot!!! NaS is the only cat that has been goin hard since ’91… Thats like Kanye being hot in 2022,think about that for a bit. THat shit is… FUckin RIDICULOUS!! NaS= GOAT!!

    9. I DONT KNOW WHO SOME OF U MISINFORMED WAX-EAR FILLED FAKE GANGSTA WANNABE SUBURB NIGGAS IS-BUT NAS BEEN THE SHIT,HE IS THE SHIT,AND HE IS GONNA ALWAYS BE THE SHIT! JUST ASK JAY-Z HOW HE REALLY FEELS AFTER ETHER SINGED HIS AZZ! LOL. AND IM A FAN OF THEM BOTH. W O W! NAS IS DEFINITELY 1 OF THE GOATS,SO U YOUNG TEENS AND SOULJA BOY WAKAFLAKA WAYNE HEADS NEED TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK, CUZ WHEN THE AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL MOVIE OF NAS AND THE WHOLE QUEENS BRIDGE DROPS IN 2012-U WILL DEFINITELY BE EATING THOSE WORDS! YA HEARD! IM OUT! 1……

    10. I was thinking bout that informer tryna get Buju locked on that bull shit.

Woe Nas killed it. And Iwas looking for some new Nas.

How can u hate on this, unless you a snitch.

Out of This World the Groundbreaking album coming soon. Im almost finish.

      1. Nigga your ass is lame. Gucci? What? You’re lame. You and the whole brick squad label. None of yall can hold a candle to Nasir Jones. Greatest Rapper Alive

    11. I almost forgot to say Nas’ flow sounds reinvigorated. And that beat is Fiyah!

That how you know some of these ppl is 2face talking that internet bull shit.

    12. Nas this is WEAK …I hate to admit it but Soldier Boy the Deandre Way is banging and Nas is killing Hip Hop with this BS

      1. WHAT? ARE YOU AN IDIOT MENTIONING SOUJA FAG IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS A LEGEND OF THE GAME. GO LISTEN TO NAS DEBUT CUT “LIVE AT THE BBQ'” WITH MAIN SOURCE AND WHAT NEW JACK FAGGOT CAN SURPASS THAT. TO THE POINT, THIS CUT IS OK NOT WACK, BUT ANYTHING SOUJA FAG TOUCHES IS PURE ASS CRACK.

      2. It IS sub-par! Why does someone have to be a Souljaboy fan just because they compare this song to CLASSIC nas records like, “Made You Look”, “Thief’s Theme”, or “hate me know”. Don’t forget about “One Mic” and “Black Republican”. If you are a REAL nas fan, then you know what his GREATNESS sounds like. And when you compare it to THIS, it’s just OK. Keep it real.

    13. Why Nas? Lil Kim did the “Snitches get stitches”, Game did the “Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin'”, Cam’Ron started the whole controversy of his snitch statement on 60 minutes. Give it up. This shit is played out.

      1. almost forgot that 60 minutes interview, what a fake idiot, who’s going to risk innocent lives just for street cred and like he would, big L’s ghost shouldve slapped him for that

    14. Nas needs harder beats, not lazy ones-hes got too many songs that drag on. He’s a great rapper but he lacks entertainment in his songs

      1. Lacks entertainment?! SHUT THE FUCK UP! Those Who PRAISE ENTERTAINMENT IN THEIR MUSIC HAVE NO SUBSTANCE, NO MEANING NO RHYME NOR REASON!!! BITCH SHUT THE FUCK UP

      2. I’m not going to tell you to STFU like that other clown because I agree with you. Nas is really great but these days it takes more than spit to stay on.

    15. NaS is my favorite rapper of all time, but this beat is….not weak, but not what NaS needs it to be.

This is an amazing beat for a local rapper from down the street. For Nas, it’s bullshit.

      1. Yeah man, historically Nas is probably the worst at picking beats among the GOATs…so many goats on any album after “Illmatic”

    16. For a Nas song this is weak. I’m a Nas fan, but let’s be honest. Boring hook, unimpressive verses and insignificant topic. Step it up, son! (Distant Relatives is that shit though)

    17. its aight..you know, i always expect so much from nas, so this is nothing really, i know he didnt put much effort..when he puts in effort (distant relatives, illmatic, stillmatic etc) u know the difference…

    18. This is what we call a ‘one listen wonder.’ It’s fun for one listen, but there’s no depth or particularly clever wordplay that’d make it worth a second/closer listen.
Maybe if Nas had dared to use his legendary poetic point of view to try and actually explore the mindset of a person brought to the point where they would actually snitch on a friend or loved one, MAYBE this song would feel like more than any ol’ cliche, run-of-the-mill, studio gangsta’s repeating what they heard in the songs of other studio gangstas, g-code b.s.

      1. JM I couldn’t have said it best. I completely agree with you man. No depth what so ever. I think he was looking for a club banger or something. Either way it failed.

    19. At one point in time Nas was my favorite MC in da game..but his shit washed up these days…this song another wack joint wit a wack beat..Nas time passed he might as well hang it up, he just aint got da lyrical drive like he had in da 90’s… 1/5

    20. I’m good as long as Nas leaves material like this off his next album. This is weak! And on that next album I better not see no songs produced by no Boola.

    21. Esco is the GOAT, but this is poor, it annoys me so much when he chooses these sub-standard, below par beats, there is not a producer in hiphop that would not give Esco their best beats!!

Nas as you said to Nore… step your game up!!!

      We still love you though!!
      Nasty Nas Escobar 4 life.

    22. This is a lazy rhyme for NAS. This aint even his flow. He flows nicer than this. Not feeling this song at all and I’m a die hard NAS fan. Oh well. Only 3 stars from me.

    23. Nas is the GOAT – no doubt!.. this song is decent just really messy, like they made it and put it out without going over it and looking out for mistakes and things to improve on

      it’s nothing compared to “Suspect”

    24. I am a #1 Nas fan, but he could have come a little harder on this one. I do agree there are too many snitches out here and people should mind their own business, but I do not think this was the track to comment about that on. I truly miss the Nas from “Illmatic” and “It Was Written”. I wonder if we can ever get fire that from him again.
–“On The Rocks” -a film by Erik Malick

      1. Agree 100 percent bro, those albums were life changers start to finish, its like searching for that first original high and u can’t get back there. His music was definitely ahead of its time with those releases, but to hear him come “average” is just disappointin, still my dude and I’ll always listen but he needs to come off like he used to

    25. Chill the phuck up this is something Boola w/e his name does on a weekly basis. Nas just jumped on it and spit a few bars. Nas still top 3 Dead or Alive. Stamp.

      1. “They thought I’ll make another Illmatic, but it’s always forward I’m moving, never backwards stupid, here’s another classic.”
Please kill that noise. A true artist grows and evolves. The nigga almost 40 now, he aint 20 no more. Jay is great because he always evolved as an artist. So shut up with the whole Nas should go back to Illmatic, or he should pick better beats talk. “Streets Disciple”, “Hip Hop Is Dead”, & “Untitled” are also great pieces of work.

      1. Youre crazy. Have you even heard Illmatic? Stillmatic? It Was Written? Greatest albums hip hop has birthed.

    26. Nice song but the subject matter I don’t like, I don’t like assholes getting away with murder I like my revenge.

      1. Gucci is not an emcee man > That’s another monkey with jewelry on > And that’s not a racial term but a comical one. NAS is an elite innovator whose writing alone destroys most !

    27. to all real Nas fans go to weneedlosttapes2.com to sign the patition to let Defjam drop that album Go NOW!!!we need Nas yall losttapes2 we need that shit.

    28. Nasir Jones is the King, the Kingpen of Hip Hop! Point fucking blank… Nas been taking niggas on trips to the hood and fascinating niggas with the glitter shit since he started rhyming.

NAS. THE GOAT!! OF ALL TIME! (How Ye say it.)

    29. nas WAS the truth, WAS. he’s damn near done now, not to mention this track is a month old. listen to this dude i found out named Cormega, nas jacked this dudes flow and everything else except for a good beat selection

      1. um… the reason anybody knows Cormega is cuz Nas shouted him out on Illmatic and then put him on with The Firm. But nobody in the enitre world (well, I mean apparently theres u, but definitely nobody else) actually thinks Mega is even close to Nas’s level.

      2. He has to be just saying that. As if Mega is someone he just came across. Not hating on mega but he has lyrics but no flow, he doesnt know how to land on the beat properly!

    30. this is ther last warning. you have the right to remain silent!they will and should be rewrded. caught-up shut-up. peace!

    31. Nas is my favorite, and from a critical standpoint, the best ever, but JayZ will be considered the greatest- at least to this point- because of his fame, sales, etc. Plus he’s a legit emcee from the golden era, so even though he’s NOT, it’s legit to say he’s the “greatest rapper” of all time.
And I’m not a Jigga fan that’s just how ITIS my brovas and sistahs!
      Happy New Year.

    32. Nas just aint the same. His lyrics don’t hit as hard and his flows don’t mesmerize like they use too. Distant Relatives was some of his best work tho in his whole career.

Am I the only person that thinks Nas raps like Jay Z on this track the way he delivers his words is reminding me of Jay’s flow on the BP2’s A Dream

      1. What? Distant Relative was a great album but far from his best work Illmatic Excluded. Nas still hits hard.

        Untitled
        Hip-Hop Is Dead
        The Lost Tapes
        I Am
        God Son
        Streets Disciple
        It Was Written

        The List Goes On.

      2. Thought the exact same thing the whole hook sounds just like that song. Nas just aint the same to me no more. Pac still the greatest don’t care what anyone says! can’t duplicate a pac but can a BIG
