Stalley laid down a track recently that serves as both a soundtrack to summer and a tribute to the late Gil Scott-Heron.

    1. A little too sloppy for a summer time song. The singing on the hook is off-key. His flow is choppy. And he doesn’t really know what to talk about. He’s a decent MC but he wasn’t able to capture the vibe he was lookin’ for on this one. Oh, the other thing is, can we be done with all the voice warping thats on every song? That shit has run it’s course. Every song now has so much shit in the background that it sounds like a trainwreck at times. We don’t need a god damn maybach music advertisement on every song. The intro was dope though.

    2. regardless of it being offkey you still get the right feeling. doesnt need to be polished for you to realize it shines.

    3. ready to hear him work with other producers…Rashad alright, Lincoln Way Nights was good..but will play Stalley out quick with the same style of tracks if Stalley keeps spitting over the same style of tracks…so I’ma give it a 2 and a half..this style getting redundant, nothing new here. (by the way, I gave Lincoln Way Nights a 3.5 overall)
