Brooklyn MC Skyzoo has returned with a video for “Baker’s Dozen” featuring Raheem DeVaughn. Produced by frequent collaborator Apollo Brown, the track is taken from Skyzoo’s latest album, In Celebration Of Us, which HipHopDX gave a 4.4 out of 5 rating.
“Past album co-collaborator Apollo Brown supplies a hard, driving piano loop for Skyzoo to offer up his thoughts about the corner in the midst of upheaval,” DX writer Tacuma Roeback said in the review. “DeVaughn’s hook, ‘Bake the Cake, bake the cake, bake the cake, cut a piece …’ is infectious.”
