HipHopDX Premiere: Koncept is at it again. Just weeks after releasing his “Hug Someone” visual, he’s back with a Cho Babo-directed video for “Calling Me,” which is produced by Optiks and features Part Time Cooks. In the visual, President “Ronald” Trump does lines of “flour,” gets pissed on by a Pikachu-stroking Mafia boss and takes a dance class with a Zulu King.

Inspired by the bizarre turn of events in United States politics since Trump was elected, Cho wanted to convey a shared disappointment in the election of “the Ronald” as President and, although the picture offers comic relief, it makes no apologies as to how the artists feel about the current president. The tag line in the chorus, ‘Why they keep calling me king,’ makes it clear that while the other two characters are embracing their role, “the Ronald” is unable to comprehend the true responsibility that comes with this title.

“Calling Me” is the first single and music video to be released from the joint album Part Time Cooks and Koncept are recording in Seoul, South Korea. Watch it above.
