Over the weekend, future NBA MVP Russell Westbrook folded Oscar Robertson’s 55-year-old record for most triple-doubles in a season by bumping his tally to 42 — with two games left to go before the 2017 NBA playoffs.
The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar solidified the fact he’d finish the regular season with a triple-double average in points, rebounds and assists and is also on track to snag the NBA scoring title.
