HipHopDX Premiere: Parisian beatsmith Al’Tarba has made his way overseas with a dark, cinematic video for “Infected Streets.” Similar in sound to artists like DJ Shadow and RJD2, Al’Tarba provides an eerie instrumental backdrop for the dramatic visual that finds interesting characters popping up throughout. Set in the year 2037, the video tells the story of a murderous man who is left wandering aimlessly around the city.

“Welcome to leftover city — this is your future, where mutant prostitutes are cheaper and used by heartless pimps, taxi drivers drive with VR mask so they can take a look at your bank account, right wing extremist are on the prowl and can analyze your origins with self-made glasses and robots become serials killers due to a massive anti social hacking,” Al’Tarba describes to HipHopDX. “Welcome to leftover city and its infected streets.”
