HipHopDX Premiere: Produced by Sunny On The Beats, who has worked with artists like Kevin Gates, Kodak Black and Rich Homie Quan, G4 Boyz’s “Toma (Remix)” finds Rich The Kid, OG Maco and Blade Brown along for the ride. In the accompanying video, the five rowdy rappers floss their cash and fancy cars. The track comes from their new mixtape The African Plug, which is expected to be released on January 31. Throughout the project, the G4 Boyz want to highlight the fact Nigerian people are hard working hustlers who do what they can to provide for their families just like any other culture.

“Me and my brother were inspired by ‘Narcos’ and the events that transpired during that era,” G4 Boyz member Ice Baby said in a press release. “We wanted to create something that represented the plug and that specific community culture.”

As the G4 Boyz reach new milestones in their musical career with no help from a record label yet continuous support from notable artists that choose to collaborate with them, both members of the group are anticipating their creative vision coming to life by putting in the hard work.

“This project quality is the best work we have put together,” G4 Boyz member Buggy said. “We hope the world hears it the way we made it because we put a lot of time and love into it.”
