Staying true to his New York roots, aspiring rapper JUS hits the streets of Chinatown in the new video for “My Year,” while he rhymes about making the next year his year. Directed by Strange Nature Productions, it’s simple in concept, yet still fun at the same time. The song was produced by CamGotHits and exemplifies his strength on the mic.

JUS was interviewed on Sway in the Morning and spoke about his current plan for his music. ”This is my last semester though,” he told Sway. “Once I graduate then it’s all music. The last few records I put out have been growing pretty well. The first record I released, “On My Own,” has been getting a nice response and I’ve had some people reach out to me about that record alone. I’m working to get this new music out, because it’s a different vibe from what most of the youth is putting out and I feel these are the songs that will get people listening and paying attention.”

JUS has been working on getting his name out there by performing on the same stage as various artists, including Fabolous, Meek Mill, French Montana, B.o.B, Diplo, and Childish Gambino. Watch the new video above.
