HIpHopDX Premiere: Milwaukee rapper Reggie Bonds has penned a tribute to A$AP Mob kingpin A$AP Rocky in the form of a video for “Long Live A$AP Yams.” Yams, of course, passed away from a drug overdose in January 2015.

“I meet Yams about four years ago,” Bonds tells DX. “He told me if I have a vision, stick with it. This was when I first found out about A$AP Rocky and the Mob. It was kinda of crazy to see them blow up like they did. Inspired the fuck out of me.”

The song follows “Gangsta’s W/ Conscious,” which featured gloomy production from Mike Regal and told the story of living a “hustler’s lifestyle.” Bond’s upcoming album, The Norf$ide W/ Love is around the corner. In the meantime, check out the new video above and the single art below.
