HipHopDX Premiere: Maine-based rapper Corey Ellis has dropped a new video for “Let Me Be,” which features the 24-year-old artist hanging in a parking lot with his friends as he executes his clever wordplay over a bass heavy beat. Meanwhile, his buddies do flips in the background (parkour, anyone?) as Ellis looks confused. Ellis initially gained popularity after releasing the 2016 single “Never Give It Back” in 2016 and his next track, “There You Go,” has reached over 250,000 plays on Spotify alone.
