HipHopDX Premiere: Bay Area MC and educator Jahi of PE 2.0 (Public Enemy 2.0) has dropped a video for “Water Protectors,” which sheds more light on the current, tumultuous situation at Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota. Dedicated to the Sioux Tribe and Flint, Michigan, Jahi demands action as he spits about the importance of clean water.

“Water is life,” Jahi tells DX. “Access to fresh water and clean water is essential. As PE 2.0, my job is to create music that speaks to the times. We will continue to speak out against police brutality and remind the world the Black Lives Matter, and now we are standing with our indigenous brothers and sisters in their fight to protect their land, traditions and sacred water.”
