DLabrie came up with a front row seat to Hip Hop’s golden age. Coming of age in Oakland, CA during the rise of the West Coast, he was a firsthand witness to the Indy grind of his hometown. As a community leader with Hip Hop Congress, DLabrie has traveled all over the world using Hip Hop as a vehicle to organize artists, activists, educators and youth alike.

Now, DLabrie releases a new music video titled “On The Unda,” featuring Johnell, as part of his Mr NETW3RK series. Watch as he takes us on a touching trip back in time through his younger years, where he struggled with a single (but dedicated) mom. This is a true story about the harsh realities of growing from a boy to a man in one of the roughest neighborhoods in America. The video for “On The Unda” features Hip Hop legend Marvaless, model/actress Sarena “Miz” Luckett, and Willie Blvck. oses truly can grow from concrete.
