As M-Dot prepares to release his ambitious album, EgO anD The EneMy, the EMS crew front man has rolled through with a video for the Marco Polo-produced track, “Dreamscape.” Directed by Miles Joyner and M-Dot himself, it’s filmed inside an abandoned insane asylum, complete with bloody imagery and creepy looking crazy people.

“Many times dreams can be an escape of sorts,” as explained in a press release. “A nightmare conversely can offer the polar opposite…a dream you wanna escape from. ‘Dreamscape’ (shot in a Western Massachusetts abandoned mental asylum) offers the latter. The horror-core track (laced by Marco Polo’s menacing drums) is a reprisal themed record aimed at producers, promoters, blogs, rappers, friends, and anybody else who has doubted, disrespected, slept on, or overlooked the ambition, dedication and overall lengthy resume of M-Dot.”

EgO anD The EneMy drops January 27, 2017 and features Hip Hop notables such as Method Man, Hi-Tek, Large Professor, Marley Marl, Buckwild, M-Phazes, 7L, !llmind, Da Beatminerz, and Snowgoons. Check out the video above.
