Shot in Brooklyn at Calvan Fowler’s Jordan Heads shop and directed by Diego Cruz, the video for Apollo Brown and Skyzoo‘s “Jordans & A Gold Chain” tug on the threads of nostalgia both musically and lyrically. Using samples from a ’50s-sounding soul record and telling a tale about a time when life revolved around dreaming about the finer things in life, the track is a throwback to the golden era. The duo’s collaborative album, The Easy Truth, dropped last month via Mello Music Group.
