Indiana native and recent Cadillacc Music signee October London has released his new music video for “Black Man In America.” The track was written in the wake of the recent killings of black men across the U.S. by police.

In the video, he sits behind a steering wheel singing about how his hands are on the wheel, but how he still feels threatened by the police officer who has pulled him over simply because of the color of his own skin.

London is a natural wordsmith who possesses a voice perfectly suited for R&B. He was introduced to producer Jazze Pha and Snoop Dogg, and the two signed him as the flagship artist to their new joint venture, Cadillacc Music. He also toured with Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa on the High Road Tour this summer.

“The song is epic and time for the world to hear an artist like October,” Snoop Dogg said in a press release. “Jazze Pha was a genius when he found this man. He came to me as a partner, now we about to let the world know.”
