Taylor Gang affiliate J.R. Donato is releasing music back-to-back lately. Yesterday (September 18), he joined Wiz Khalifa on “Stranger Things” and today (September 19), he returns with a video for “Trap Never Closed.” Not surprisingly, he dissects what it’s like to be in a trap house, where “bitches walking around the trap with no clothes” and “it’s never moving slow, yeah.”
Over a dramatically dark beat, Donato celebrates his unbeatable work ethic and boasts about his prized possessions, adding a memorable, stuttering hook for good measure. “Trap Never Closed” is the first single from his Why So Serious? mixtape, which is due out later this fall.
