As the fall TV season gets underway, the creators of the Comedy Central phenomenon, “South Park,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone, decided to enact their normally irreverent tone in a trailer for Season 20. Featuring several South Park characters, including Stan and Kyle, the trailer depicts a crowd singing, “Colin Kaepernick is great/cops are pigs, cops are pigs,” which is about as blatant as it gets. The clip is in response to the San Francisco 49er’s quarterback’s recent protest of the National Anthem.
“South Park” continues next Wednesday (September 21) at 10 p.m. EST on Comedy Central.
