HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Some of you may recognize Bryant Dope from The Get Down, an original Netflix series taking the world by storm. Now, hereturns with another visual titled “Down In The City.”

The video has a “city is mine” concept. The song is about Bryant taking a claim on New York rap. It’s about taking on all competitors and explaining why down in New York City, he has a place in the rap game.

The video was shot in Chinatown in New York City. Bryant wanted it to look like he was the only one in the city. The dark light of the whole video and the beginning scene of him looking at the blue light was to coincide with the art direction for his EP Cover. A1Vision is a videographer from Queens, NYC like Bryant, and this is their first time working together.
