KAMAU is of the earth and of the people. His music and message have the power to hit you on a primitive, animal instinct level. His debut EP, A Gorgeous Fortune, is predominantly made up of vocal samples and beatboxing, with KAMAU singing and rapping with his nasally voice. It also features co-production from No Wyld. On the EP, he longs to find a queen of his own, speaks on police brutality, and more, all with lyrical deftness. His latest video for “FoolMoon” is filled with deeper meanings than meets the eye.
