In the first episode of HS87’s new series “We the Plug,” Hit-Boy introduces his new production crew as they prepare for the release of their album of the same name. Hit-Boy describes HS87, which stands for Hits Since ’87, as creative kids with dreams. When Hit-Boy discusses finding their own sound, he says that they started trying to make their beats sound like Pharrell’s or Just Blaze but as they progressed found their own style of production.
The members of the crew featured in this episode include Hit-Boy himself, Rey Reel, Haze Banga, and S. Dot. When speaking on the We the Plug project the crew had nothing but good things to say. Hit-Boy recently released an official video for “Alert,” featuring Nipsey Hussle, which is projected to release on We the Plug. The group also stated that Kid Cudi, Young Dro and Rich Boy will be featured on the project.
