lamar clearly outrapped jay z who needs to ride the dick of hot young rappers to stay relevant. from jeezy, drake to lamar. smh.

    • imbiber

Nigga, GTFOH.... Kendrick probably wanted to be on the song with Jay. It's like Usher being able to do a record with MJ. Appreciate the greatness, Niggas.

WHY DONT PEOPLE "GET IT" WITH JAY-Z? JAY-Z RAPS WATERED DOWN PURPOSELY FOR RECORD SALES "...if skills sold true be told I'd probably by lyrically Talib Kweli. IF JAY-Z WANTED TO BE THE BEST LYRICALLY AND FLOW RAPPER EVER THEN HE COULD DO IT OVERNIGHT LIKE FLICKING A LIGHT SWITCH. JAY-Z TOP 5 BEST OF ALL TIME.

  • Trollhunter

Jay-Z is the TOP 5 best rapper(hands down) OF ALL TIME.

Does any one else get pissed watching the three fuckin kids with back packs and snap backs bounce around? Kids wouldnt know hip hop if it slapped them in the face.

There goes Jay-Z dickriding the young artist who's hot to stay relevant. Jay-Z never fails.

  • TheDUke

B.I.G. on this would be insane

  • TheDUke

    j. cole cant compete with kendrick, hov has to bring his A game to keep up

  • Gogglebeanz

people talking about swag and style dont belong conversing about real music, ive been listening to kendrick for a long while now and i knew he'd blow i just didnt know how he could get the new era to acccept em cause the music is so dumbed down, but he did it, and yes kendrick made music before sect. 80, go through his catalogue and the material/subject matter is reminiscent of 2pac, but hes not 2pac hes kendrick his own man and im happy to see real music being recognised again plus jayz did his thing o the trck but kendrick for me always shines, kinda like em in his prime when he hopped on a song

  • TheDUke

I didn't think hov had it in him

  • ok

Hov bodied K-Dot tbh. But atleast he is the realest young rapper

  • Carnal Pleasures

I just got paid $6784 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that's cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers and made over $9k her first month. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. Here's what I do Rich45.C0M__

Jay Z biting lyrics again... SMH. This time Canadian rapper Maestro Fresh Wes.

  • Jay

Jay Z got bodied by Nas. End of discussion. The funny thing is Nas could have put the final nail in the coffin with another diss, but he chose not too and let Hov live. HOv should be on his knees thanking God Son.. K Lamar is over rated. He got bars, but no Swag and no real followers, just bandwagon fans who like the singles. J Cole produced his own album with no heavy endorsements from other big heavyweights and no airplay and no machine and went gold (mostly digital) and got the number one spot. K Lamar has a lot of gas and heavyweights producing and guiding his career as well as the entire interscope staff and is close to 700,000 real sales. With out the machine, his previous albums sold under 80k. Who has the truest fan base?

    • locedout

When talking "artistically and compositionally artful", one can simply not leave out MBDTF .. 808's even.

1 hot album every ten years...

    • LOAD

LMAO...HOV GAVE NAS A NEW LIFE...NAS BEEN IN DA GAME DAMN NEAR 20 YEARS AND HE"S STILL A FUCKING ARIST....I Still FUCKS WITH NAS , BUT HOV KILLED HIM WITH THE TAKEOVER AND SUPER UGLY...THE TRUTH HURTS NIGGA .. JOKES DONT MEAN SHIT IN A DISS RECORD..ONE OF THE GREATEST LYRICIST(KRS-ONE) EVEN SAID NAS LOST....HOV STAY WINNING .....43 AND NIGGA STILL KILLIN THE GAME BETTER THAN YOUR FAVORITE RAPPER

    • stfu

why the fuck are you talkin about jay vs nas which was over a decade ago this page is about Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe REMIX go somewhere else with that shit

      J. Cole had no push? Dude was hyped as Jay-Z prodigee, and his first studio release was preempted by a spot on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 and a collab with Drake. Cole World was a major label album with singles pushed by the radio. Versus Section80, an independent release, digital exclusive, with the biggest names on it being RZA (big name in hiphop, but not commercially), and. . . J. Cole! (producing the closing track). Also, Section.80 is not even technically his debut album. It's a mixtape. Originally billed as one, though most people forgot. It was put for sale on Itunes, but it can be legally downloaded for free. PEOPLE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO BUY IT! And it still sold nearly 100k. Search "Section.80 Mixtape" in google and you will find loads of early articles dubbing it a mixtape, and people confused as to whether it is an album or mixtape. It wasn't until AFTER its success that it was retroactively billed as his debut album.

    • ThatKid

      J. Cole sold those numbers thanks to soulless, manufactured singles designed for the sole purpose of pushing numbers. J. Cole ain't bad - Friday Night Lights is an amazing album (mixtape, whatever you want to call it) - but Cole World had too much artificial garbage. GKMC had none of that - no one can say Swimming Pool is a song made to push numbers, and the fact that it did was a surprise to everyone - and yet it sold more than J Cole. K-dot got pushed by big name artists because they respected his ambition - GKMC is probably the most artistically and compositionally artful and ambitious album since. . . Section 80, which was probably the most artistically and compositionally artful and ambitious album since OutKast's Aquemini (their is a reason why he got a 3k cosign). I'd say as MCs J. and K. are about equal, but as ARTISTS, K. leaves J. in the dirt.

What the fuck you mean "word placement".... Grown men are talking, not no fucking faggots. Men shouldn't have to worry about what the fuck they're saying. They know they're not saying or thinking of some faggot shit when they're speaking. But that's exactly what I mean. Why when he said that, the 1st thing that comes to your mind is some faggot shit? Think about that! Ya got that faggot shit on your mind that's why them sentences trigger that shit in your sub conscious. FOH!

    • Well

Well it did sound a little Mr. Herbertish(Family Guy Pedo), i mean, you would think someone who works with rappers would be well vexed or at least have some sense of word placement

    • Anonymous

That's the 1st thing that came to your mind huh? SMFH! You're the only faggot thinking about that. Homo niggas always think of some Homo shit when straight niggas are talking! You probably were jeans tighter then my girls talking about "no homo"... SMFH! And any hating ass clown that is worried about a rappers age kill your self now so you wont get old. Kill your mother and every other old head since you have a problem with age. Only in Hip Hop... SMFH! Petty people are always looking for petty shit so they can hate!

  • mased

Hov is a fucking beast at 43....nigga still doin his thing..and it aint no bubble gum rap.. that's why he got to include the lyrics in his cd booklet now..just for the niggaz that don't understand...kendrick doin his thing too..

    • still

but the ppl that have to read jays lyrics to understand them are probably the same people who cant read lmao.. unless his rap booklet comes with a hooked on phonics video screen itll be usless hah

    watch it be Em next

  • Prestige

That's dope and all... But how about Jay-Z taking the time to release Jay Electronica Album. He's killing my vibe.

    • Prestige

C'mon man... you really believe that? If that's true then Jay-z is a lier. Hov mentioned it in interviews that the album is finished. Guru, said that Jay-z has the album and it's his fav of '12. Plus, Jay Elec released the track lists and officially announced that it was finished before the summer. No, Jay-z is "Lasering" ActII for what I'm sure are suspect reasons...

    • Anonymous

maybe jay electronica dont have an album to release yet? maybe hes too busy travelling the world and fucking billionaire illuminati heireses

  • rob

Sound so good don't you agree.

GAGA & JAY shoulda just been on the record from the jump.fuck these 1 feature remixes.

  • the Grza

Like some have said, Jay's been doing this his whole career. Just jumping on who ever is hot. It's kinda weird hearing him hop on a Kendrick song. It sounds cool though. Jay's voice is much easier to digest than Kendrick's. His voice is awful.

  • DatDude

HOV IS WASHED UP! Kendrick is the future

Ive got love for Hov but I'm not fuckin with that Bitch,Don't Kill My Vibe *screaming into mic*

it goes hard but Jay jumping on Kendrick joint yet he silent when it comes to J.Cole his own artist

  • Anonymous

Jay-Z jumps on another artist with hype to get hype.

    • Anonymous

the way you say "steal some fanbase" sounds fucked up i'm a kendrick fan and i'm a jay-z fan. no one is gonna stop listening to kendrick and start listening to jay-z because of this. theres no stealing going on niggas. most kendrick fans already know jay-z anyways i doubt this is getting him any new listeners and if it does they not real hip-hop heads

    • ClasS

READ IF YOU WANT TO BE ENLIGHTENED ON THE GAME AND SOME OF ITS STRATEGIES: But how Jay Z grabbed a partial portion of his critical acclaim is by making smart moves....which one is, jumping on other artists' tracks which are hot to steal some fanbase..its logical if you want to keep competing and broadening your fanbase, can't knock the hustle there are tactics and strategies to beating the game in every sytem you got to learn how to work the kinks and persevere.Applaud Jay and watch his moves and you make yours as smart as he does, others do too, Kanye, Ross, Wayne, that's why they are at where they are at. It's crazy how people can sit and watch and never get a real clue to improvement rather hate and judge negatively, you uys must not want the power and money.

    • styles g

Jay has been doing this even before he was big. I remember reading a Jaz-O interview years ago and he was saying in the 90's Jay was trying to do songs with Nas and Big so he could capture their fan base. You've seen him hugging up Kanye the last couple years. It's something he's always done. Seems fake on his part, but its all about business to him.

    • GGENERAL

Jay hopped on or was asked to hop on? You guys kill me with the hate. If you don't like dudes music, than fine, but don't say stupid s**t for the sake of saying stupid s**t...Jay's fan base is worldwide and deep, he doesn't need to hop on other people stuff, they ask him too because they are either fans themselves or looking to take they stuff to another level....Stupidity is the enemy of all that is intelligent

    • Kool Herc of BX

Ur retarded if you think Jay is the one tryin to get hype.JAY-Z IS A LEGEND IN THIS RAP SHIT!!everything Kendrick is tryin to do, JAY ALREADY BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!!you both sound extremely uneducated about hiphop.stop killing my culture.

    • Anonymous

YUP IVE ALWAYS HAVE SAID IT JAYZ DONT COLLABO WITH OTHER ARTIST CUS HE LIKES THEM BUT TO GET THEIR FANBASE...I DONT KNOW WHY THE INDUSTRY HOLDS SOMEONE HIM SO HIGH. HE HAS NO LOYALTY TOWARDS ANYBODY. HE DUMPED EVERYONE FROM ROCAFELLA AND KEPT KANYE TO KEEP HIM RELEVANT..NOW HE DONT NEED KANYE...WHOS NEXT?...FUCK JAY-Z (in 2pacs voice)

  • Nick Newman

Those white boys must not know who Jay-Z is. I would've got hyped when I heard that remix for the first time.

  • Anonymous

After listening to this... I'm not fucking with that "Suit and Tie"
