HipHopDX Premiere: The Queen of Bounce Big Freedia has linked up with New Orleans-based producer Mannie Fresh for the new single, “Dive,” which is bursting at the seams with an infectious energy. The collaboration happened after Fresh had been a guest on Freedia’s reality television show, Big Freedia Bounces Back.

“Dive is by two bounce artists from two different eras,” Big Freedia tells HipHopDX. “This has a real New Orleans bounce beat, ya’ll! Just make sure when you dive, you go deep our you will get hurt.”

Freedia’s career continues to be on an upward trajectory. Season 6 of her reality show premieres on September 12 on Fuse TV. The hit docu-series follows the highs and lows of Freedia’s professional and personal life.
