HipHopDX Premiere: Twenty-year-old rapper/producer Jaee Bryant has recruited the talents of super producer Wondagurl (Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna, SZA, Travis Scott) for his new track, “DEEP.”
The song serves as the second single from the Charleston, South Carolina native’s forthcoming album, BLOO. Throughout the track, Jaee touches on his aspirations as an MC and the seriousnesses he feels towards the art of lyricism.
“It’s deeper than rap for me,” Jaee tells HipHopDX. “‘DEEP’ is more about the culture of Hip Hop and taking it way back where rappers were battling each other, pushing each other to be better. I want to impact the world with being lyrical, and bringing back deeper content and poetry into my lyricism.”
