J Dilla’s life is often celebrated in February, along with Black History Month. The Detroit legend was born on February 7 and it’s also the same month the celebrated producer cooked up, Donuts. In his honor, production duo Cookin’ Soul has shared a live tribute set recorded in Brussels with a SP-404, laptop and single turntable, which covers Dilla’s entire career, both as a solo artist and collaborator with artists like D’Angelo and De La Soul.
