As co-president of Top Dawg Entertainment, Terrence “Punch” Henderson presumably has a lot on his “to-do” list. However, he still manages to carve out some time to make some thought-provoking music. His latest single “Gold” features the TDE exec questioning the prison system and where the content is in rap.

With slick, introspective rhymes like, “It’s really real out here/Niggas is gettin’ killed out here/Where’s your content/How do you sleep/Where’s your conscience/How could ever forget the projects…’80s babies stuck in the ’90s/Tan khakis creased on top of Cortez Nikes/White t-shirt with a dope dealer psyche,” Punch proves his intelligence with his clever lyric writing abilities.

Punch’s last single, 40yrs, was released in September. Listen to the new joint above.
