HipHopDX Premiere: Hailing from the city of Oakland, Tree Thomas has been steadily putting out projects over the course of this year. His last single, “Down With The Neighbors (Hella Hella),” came out last month and he’s already back at it with a five-track mixtape. Titled Say My Name, an obvious nod to Destiny’s Child, the mixtape was recorded in 48 hours and utilizes records from the ’70s to modern day, including The Roots, Rihanna and Stephanie Mills.
