Recording artist Zroc returns to release his new track titled “Streets Don’t Love Ya.” This record is featured on his mixtape, “DWID” also known as “Do What I Do,” also released today on SoundCloud. Produced by J Minor, “Streets Don’t Love Ya” has Zroc reflecting on his struggles in the hood.

Zroc states, “It’s like everybody don’t love you when they don’t have cash and you do…How they hate on me, I had the same chances as you?” At a time where Hip Hop is dominated by West Coast and Southern rap, Zroc represents the East Coast as a talented young rapper hailing out of the nation’s capital. Raised in one of DC’s most notorious neighborhoods, Z learned to turn life’s turbulence into melodic tracks. Once a member of the popular DC rap group, High Definition (HD), Z describes his sound as part of the new wave, with uptempo beats, catchy hooks, and unexpected cadences.
