Grammy Award-winning R&B superstar John Legend is all about creating anthems these days. The success of his multi-platinum 2013 record “All of Me” really hasn’t left him much choice.
Nonetheless, Legend has allowed life experience to bolster his sound leading up to his fifth studio album, Love and Darkness. He has more tenure as a husband, father and a songwriter, which has all affected his approach to crafting memorable tunes.
For his new single, “Love Me Now,” the soon-to-be 38-year-old musician expresses his love for Chrissy Teigen once again on the single cover art and within the song’s lyrics. Co-written and produced by Blake Mills of Alabama Shakes and John Ryan of One Direction, look for the track to dominate contemporary radio and playlists as 2017 gets cracking.
