HipHopDX Premiere: Nafets’ inebriating single, “Feel Good,” captures a swift, organic collaboration between the artist and audio engineer Calin Enache. Lyrically, the District Soundlab-produced track explores the underlying depression lurking behind the swelling growth of arrogance and bliss while using substances that, rather than remedy, escalate the darkness.

According to Nafets, “This track marks the first appearance of slimjimjones, his perverse alter ego, noted by the pitch automation, that embodies the sinister influence that leads to substance abuse in the hopes of finally feeling good.”

Rich with creative complexity, “Feel Good” satisfies a deep psychotic exploration in a musically intriguing way and is featured on his upcoming debut LP, The Death of Mr. Ramen.
