With production from K.E. On The Track, Doe Boy‘s “Band Man” seems to find the Freebandz rapper back in a celebratory mood after a relatively difficult couple of years. In 2013, his life of crime finally caught up to him and his career was halted for a while. Everything changed when he got a phone call from Future.
As he explained to DX in a June 2016 interview, “A year and a half had passed. I had just got done shooting a video and I walked in the house and my manager called me. He was like someone wants to talk to you. It was Future on the phone. He asked was I ready and reminded me that he didn’t forget about me. He came back for me and shit. A nigga was happy as hell.”
