DXclusive: HD & Young Scooter Share New Single "Stay Ready (On Me)"

HipHopDX Premiere: After having his career interrupted more than once with jail time and being shot on two different occasions, Oakland staple HD is back and stronger than ever. He’s tapped fellow rapper Young Scooter for his latest single, “Stay Ready (On Me).”

As stated in a press release, between 2013-2015, HD and his label Bearfaced Entertainment experienced what could be described as the wildest and most volatile ascension to the top of YouTube view charts and indie rap playlists. In a very short time, HD became a go-to feature for most indie rappers in the Bay Area. With a clear head, a new vision and staff for Bearfaced, HD is ready to move forward.

“Stay Ready (On Me)” serves as the first release from his forthcoming project drop, The O.N.E. – Originality Nothing Else, which drops September 30. The project features contributions from Young Scooter, Freebandz, 1017 Brick Squad, and his home team labelmates.
