Los Angeles rapper Kid Ink dropped his new mixtape today (September 20) titled RocketShipShawty 2 (RSS 2), the sequel to 2012’s RocketShipShawty. The new single, “In My Way” features emerging West Coast rappers Mozzy, Bricc Baby, and Nef The Pharaoh, and comes with a killer, bass heavy beat.

Ink’s verse appears to pay tribute to the late Kid Cali, while Mozzy and Bricc Baby come in with their various approaches to street rap at the end. His last single, “One Day,” found a more introspective Ink rapping over a slow, soulful beat, but showed his wide range of capabilities, which is clearly one of his strengths.
