HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Northside Chicago native made his return last month from a year-long hiatus to re-release his 2015 project “The Who Tape” on all streaming platforms, with an added bonus cut “Just A Little.”

That drop was only a taste of what’s to come, as Astonish is ready to unleash his latest full length To Whom It May Concern next month.

Featuring features from Chris Crack and Treated Crew’s Million Dollar Mano (producer of The Weeknd’s “The Hills”) and with most of the production being handled by Flex Lennon (Saba’s “401K” and Ishdarr’s “Down”), it is marking a return to form for one of the pillars of Chicago Rap.

Astonish states, “This album has taken me through a mixture of emotions. I’ve worked diligently to capture everything that I felt going into this process in order to fully connect with everything I wanted to accomplish creatively. This album is for the person who isn’t content within their circumstances, who strives for greater and a better understanding of the world around them. This album is about self-realization, uncertainty, and fighting to overcome life’s obstacles. Most importantly this album is dedicated to the day 1 Astonish fans who have been such a motivating force within my career as an independent artist.”

“Triple Beam” is the first single off of TWIMC and features buzzing Chicago MC Chris Crack. Listen as the two artists trade stories from the block over the head-nodding smooth instrumental.
