Seattle producer/rapper/designer Tay Sean, will release his full-length album Leavings on September 20. A member of the Cloud Nice collective, which also featured membership from THEESatisfaction, Seven Davis Jr., and Nacho Picasso, Tay Sean also has worked with Shabazz Palaces and played synths on THEESatisfaction’s 2015 album EarthEE. The album is a funked out future jazz astral projectile, according to Tay Sean, who produced the entire record, raps on various songs and designed all of the album art.

Now he releases a new track titled “Kathedral Spectre.” Tay mentions while he was working on Leavings that he’d “see movement in [his] peripheral vision, or hear doors slam out of nowhere.” He continues that “often times it would get so bad [he’d] have to leave the studio, but [he] braved it out as [he] was making ‘Kathedral Spectre’ and it became the theme of the song.”
