Las Vegas artist JR Castro teams with DJ Carisma for an upcoming mixtape called “Songs You Were Made To,” slated to be released on August 22. If the name didn’t give it away, Castro will be remaking and covering classic R&B tracks that many people were probably conceived to.
Castro plans to release a new cover of a certified baby-making record every Monday for the rest of July and August. He kicked off his #Made2Mondays series with his renditions of “Love You Down” and “Rock Wit’Cha.” This week, he drops “Cupid,” featuring Poo Bear and produced by The Audibles.
