Canadian-born rhymer Jazz Cartier resurfaced with Hotel Paranoia, a 16-track album which inculcates listeners onto his recent vibes. Not officially a follow-up to his debut Marauding In Paradise, more so a check-in on his workload status, the project tracks Cartier through the ins and outs of a menacing nights at a clandestine hotel. On a more upbeat note, “Red Alert,” rings in an anthem-sounding aura, with knocking drums and a celebrating hook-inviting a potential lover to takeover the night life with him.
