If you’re a Problem fan, chances are you’ve heard of Bad Lucc. Originally a member of the Los Angeles rap trio Dubb Union, he has been featured on a ton of the Compton emcee’s mixtape cuts, most notably 2012’s infectious club banger “Like Whaaat.” He also co-founded independent label Diamond Lane Music Group in 2010 with Problem, which has already expanded to include singer Casha.
Despite his achievements, we haven’t heard a ton of solo work from Bad Lucc; that changes with the release of his free Outchea EP. One of the star tracks is “Set It Off” featuring T.I. on the hook and Problem for a guest verse. Production is courtesy of Problem himself, the League Of Starz (who seem to produce almost everything Problem releases), and Craig Martin. Enjoy the song, get the EP, and hopefully we’ll be hearing more from this underrated West-coast artist in the near future.
