Hot off the release of the more sedate and downtempo “Glam” with Chance the Rapper, Chuck Inglish is back with “Money Clip,” which enlists a small menagerie of rappers for assistance. Vic Mensa, RetcH, Hassani Kwess & Sulaiman make their respective guest appearances over a thumping beat suitable for any backroom cypher.

The cut is a leak off Inglish’s upcoming Convertibles LP, which has seen multiple release dates but is currently pegged for April 8th. Expect to see further collaborations with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, and naturally Sir Michael Rocks, the other rapper in The Cool Kids duo that gave Chuck Inglish his prominence. Inglish began his solo run with some mixtapes in 2012 followed in 2013 by the Easily and Droptops EPs.

As for The Cool Kids, their only studio album thus far is 2011’s When Fish Ride Bicycles, which featured production by The Neptunes as well as artists such as Bun B, Chip Tha Ripper, and Ghostface Killah. An album titled Shark Week was originally planned for 2014, but Inglish’s solo efforts make that seem unlikely for now.
