Gibbs and his crew have had three hot songs including this one: My Nigga, Above All, Possible. They all sound like classic 2pac songs (IE How Long Will They Mourn Me). Gibbs clearly has an outstanding reverence and respect for this particular era of rap. An era which shed light upon the plight of inner city youth. Freddie Gibbs is a distillation of the violence and drugs. A product of the decay of the American city, Gibbs has an uncanny ability to communicate this urgency and insanity with startling sincerity and without any gloss. Hit or not, he's a gangster.
Real zone out music!!
