Interesting. It's been a while since I've heard a song where the beat complimented the verses instead of the other way around. This song is fantastic. 5/5

  • Remy

This is great song. listen to extended version

  • nfhn

I have no idea why people hte on EM the past few years..he got sober and older and changed his style up..still raking in awards and going multiplatinum and absolutely murdered a few cyphers...Stuck in the past clowns or only like his first 2 albums from the shock value and all the rebellious white boy cursing get the fuck with the times his lyricism now is more complex and something new

  • Anonymous

    just to change the number

  • Anonymous

Crook and Em's verses are fucking dope

  • beta

To eminem, by a fan: please Em, stop doing mainstream pop horrible trash (Im not refering to this song in particular, which is dope) that real hip hop heads that like for example GangStarr and Rakim (and old Eminem) cant listen to . Lately, your pop collaborations are realy horrible, your rhymes are getting average and wack (and most important: with a lack of a message), and the beats you rap over are mainstream shit that I personally dislike. You used to be dope Em, you used to be a great MC over dope beats in the Marshal Mathers LP and The Eminem Show time. You already have a lot of money: so my suggestion to you is: GO UNDERGROUND! Get some dope sharp producers, some RZA, Preemo, Dre in good form, and start spitting real bars like you used to. And stop collaborating with bitches like Rihanna, that shit is really annoying. Thank you. Peace. from a fan in Argentina

  • Slaughtered

The whole concept of this song is dope. It's also a haunting memory of earlier, classic Em tracks. Your average rapper wont find comfort in here and that's why I'm feeling it even more.

  • shady83

whens its all said and its all done none shall ever fuck with our squadron!so welcome to our house! Bitch ;)

Great track off a top 10 album of 2012

  • Anonymous

Support real hip hop and rap where guys actually flow and rhyme correctly and talk about something other then how much money and cars they got how many bitches they fucking..yes they have a few cuts from the album about that shit but they limit it and have some hard complex rhymes and some deep content about real life

  • BOY

This was a Sad weekend in black history...two of the most successful rapers in hip hop history did a festival less than 100 miles from each other that's some real Divide and conquer shit .instead of strengthening the hip hop genre they do a separate show.....willie lynch is still in the minds of many in 2012...this is a sad day in hip hip history....kanye and jay should of been headlining at rock the bells not doing shows with pearl jam!!!!! if you understand black history you will know where I am coming from Jay is the one of the greatest of all time..but that doesn't mean hes not a Uncle Tom, Sambo of our time Sammy Davis Jr..

  • Nafan

Seriously what a terrible album. Worst album ive heard this year. Keep eminem and skylar grey away from your music. Skylar grey and eminem equals Wackness. I need a doctor sucked and eminems album sucked as well. Eminem needs to work with bass brothers again to be respected. And slaughterhouse should find a style and sound and stick with it. This album is all over the place. Production and hooks are terrible. 1/5.

    • Anonymous

Stupid fool ...do u hear lyrics they all killed this track and the album is 4/5 with the bonus cuts ...Ems music has changed as he's grown that's called being a true artist who's been doing it for almost 15 years now ..some of you want the Marshall mathers LP again but fact is that was 12 years ago ..just respect the classic shit he given you and enjoy the music with some sense and a open mind

  • AS

dont test music out with the computer, go to the car. Thie intro and the sequence in too this song is awesome. 5/5

  • me

I wanna be the best who ever did it Don't know if that goal is feasible, or it isn't But if it is then God, if you're listenin' Please grant me the strength to crush all competition You can't blame me for dreaming, I'm a dreamer And if I'm coming off brash please forgive me But, that's all I want I just wanna be the illest MC (That's all I want) The same time being as real as can be Damn....This shit make a nigga get on his grind.

  • BK

The beat is wack ass fuck.

  • metal50

the beat selection could have been better. I loved there 1st album this one has a handful of skip-able tracks. Skylar Grey is annoying on this track but she can sing but just doesn't jell with the four Beasts!! Move On, Microphone, Lyrical Murderers, Not Tonight, Sound Off...them the beats they need to shine on!!

In our, house we spit like Sig Saucers The way I feel now I could spit for six hours Straight, only way to be great, is to dig down, if you can hear this sound in- -side my head sounds like a fucking drive-by That's what the inside of my mind's like Looking back on my career, even hindsights, tunnel vision, 5 mics Never wanted that so bad well I got-ta go mad Nomad with a notepad Go Taz, spaz on these ho bags That bother me, but I never wanna show that Just don't act like it ever does Even though you know that there will never come A day someone blows past you, never was Someone who's as dope as you ever was And you hope that's, true cause the competitor in you Couldn't let someone be better than you And you know that, so you don't ever hold back What you gonna go back, to working a regular job? Fuck that, I'm gonna go hard grab on my, gonads Tell them fuck theyselves They call me a wigger like Renee Zell But I raised hell like a stay-at-home dad Rap is the only thing that I was ever really, bad to the bone at Guess I'm similar to, gangrene when I'm, angry then I'm Hulk Smash, so much passion but no compassion If eyes are the windows to the soul Then it's, broken glass and there's no trespassing Alright now here we go Dre stamped me now I'm stamping Yelawolf Be ready for the most competitive Clique in the world it's like Clash Of The Titans I released the cracker it's time to set it again And when it's said and it's all done None shall ever fuck with this squadron So come on in, at your own risk This is (Our House) Bitch!

  • hi

crooked i killed it best joel and royce same level em... uh he was dope but we know he's capable of much more

  • squire

i see this has a bunch of slaughterhouse haters already but to anyone that knows real hip hop and can eally understand it know that this may be the hottest album out right now. legit pop in the cd and just let it play they give you everythin except the type of songs you hear on the radio and then turn the dial joel ortiz goes off on almost every song. 5'9 hit you with soo many punch lines at one time a lot off ppl cant catch up with it and i really dont have to say anything for joe budden just the way he flows on the track it almost sounds like it should be his soong and yes crooked gets slept on by alot of folks but i doubt theyll be sleeping for much longer

  • chungo

    buying this album no doubt

  • Dane

Raw ass song but need budden this is the mood muzic type beat he woulda murdered it take Ortiz out in my opinion on this one 5/5 still real rap is back SLAUGHTER

Song is good ill give it a 5 Love Slaughterhouse Love Eminem. While you're listening take a second and like this Please like this would mean the world to me facebook com/NLKlothing Peace

  • IFLOP

Did you hear? Apple is making a new product for Slaughterhouse called "IFLOP" that'll spit out the reasons why they indeed..."flopped". Instead of an alarm clock beeping noise the IFLOP will play corny circus music to remind them to pick better beats. When they use the navigation feature it will have Em's annoying accent voice giving them the wrong directions to places so that way they'll learn not to listen to Em for shit. And most importantly when they go to buy something the "IFLOP" will chime, "SOLD OUT"... oh and I hear apple is giving this to these guys for free after listening to the album.

    • squire

apple should give you them all bc that was extra corny dont quit ya day job bruh comedy isnt in your future

    • Not really

That really didn't take that much thought...actually did it while I was writing some scripts...but I can see how it could take someone while to come up with something like that. Oh..and because I posted on a message board means I don't have a life? Well what does that say about you?

    • Karan

Very creative. But get a life man? So much time on so much hate. Sad human being

  • biasedasFVCK

Eminem gets respect from any big name in hip hop, even wayne admits ems better then him (youtube that), he gets respect from all artists, you cant recognize what he can do lyrically then you really shouldnt be commenting on rap songs.

    • Hip Hop Historian

ye Em's one of the best no doubt, but why the fuck you saying "even wayne said it..." like Wayne's Rakim or Kool G lol calm down kido learn your hip hop

  • Anonymous

3/5 they shoulda gave joe buddens a verse instead of that half ass eminem verse and jus kept eminem on the hook/bridge thing. its the 1st fucking song on the album how the fuck you not gonna have the whole group on the song? smh.... downloaded the album gave it 2 playbacks out of the 14 songs that are officially on the album 3 are wack the rest are dope. def gonna buy an support this album. put it up against 2 chainz album see which is better quick review of the album after 2 playbacks strait thru no skipping best songs: Coffin, get up, rescue me, frat house, park it sidewayz. worst songs: throw it away and throw that Overall album is dope worth the $10 4/5

  • IHateEminemFans

Lol This website is full of white boys dissing each other in the comment section. This song is garbage, I'm getting tired of these white boys dick riding there rap princess Eminem. He sucks and so does his groupies(Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent) and yes I am a die hard Eminem hater. I don't care how much money Eminem has, how many album he sold and how many awards he won because this dude is corny and cheesy as hell. I just hope him and his groupies vanish off earth sometime soon. BTW I'm a white guy too and it is a race thing because I only see white boys dick riding this dude.

    • Danny

After reading that, I just want to know which artists you consider good?

    • DOPE

Mr. Eminem Hater, look around before you start talking about some shit you don't know nothing about. Eminem fans are not just whiteboys, everybody in the record industry respects him, and it's not about the money or how many albums he has sold, he has pure skill, and if you can't see that then you probably shouldn't even be listening to rap music anyway. Even Rakim respects Eminem! he said that, Rakim didn't even need to say that, but he still did, which shows how much skill Eminem has. This particular song could have been better though, but if you look at his music over all, there's just one word, "Genius".

  • Brain

This Is hip hop, Real Lyrics, Genius Production. it almost sound like a Drama movie to me

  • thabo

i think Skylar wasnt needed in here. and i think Joey deserved a verse. that being said, i think the lyrics are real and nice

  • SomeDude

I wish Interscope would stop trying to make me listen to Skylar Grey.

  • Ws

Eminem dick riders. Wu tang dick riders. Dj premier dick riders. J dilla dick riders. Everybody dick rides their favorite artist so shut the fuk up if you dont think this is loud. Go dick ride what sounds good to you.

  • DOPE

it's unbeleiavle how much hate is spread across the boards once there is a song that comes out by an emcee. I mean regardless of being an Eminem fan in this matter, everybody seems to respect the guy for his work and that has nothing to do with the color of his skin by the way (as many people are foolish enough to think so) Anyway, I like vanilla and if the other guy like choclate doesn't automatically make him an enemy and I don't need to bash him over the internet for it. All you guys are fucking stupid for doing this shit, day after day and year after year all I've fucking seen is this hate being generated for no fucking reason whatsoever, just some fucking bullshit ego of some people trying to prove that their favorite rapper is better than the other, whereas in this matter (in the case of Eminem) there is no fucking competition and in your hearts you all know that for a fact. Even if you don't like his music ever or anymore, whatever the case is, as long as you don't like it you simply don't need to listen to it, by listening to it, by taking out the precious time from your life you do imply that you like it or you simply give a fuck about it. think about it people, all you guys going at each other's throats for nothing. I bet all these rappers you guys trash talk about read these comments and laugh their asses off. Peace out people.

  • Umar Yumami

With every Eminem related song that gets released it becomes more and more clear that Eminmen fans have shitty ears when it comes to music.

  • RESP

With the exception of Hammer Dance, all of the songs i've heard from this album have been subpar. This was Slaughterhouse's opportunity to build something REAL, especially off the momentum of their 1st album which was quality music start to finish. Very disappointed as a hip hop fan, and even more disappointed for the group. Their shot to make it big may have just vanished.

  • Anonymous

    eminem did it again

  • MDUB

Wow, great lyrics and wordplay and beat. 5 stars

  • WAKTACULAR

It's funny how people have to EXPLAIN why someone else should like a song. If the majority of people aint feeling then that has to mean something. The sound of the album just isn't there. It sounds like EM sat in the studio and had SH listen to Recovery and told them they needed their album to sound like that in order to be successful. So instead of bringing something new to the table ur getting recylced Recovery slash D12 sounding crap. Instead of these fools sounding grimey they sound corny like...D12. Beats sound very weak...no bass...choruses or weak and forgetable, and the songs will be too. Slaughterhouse is one house that I'm not even interested in going into.

  • MM

"..they call me a wigger like Renee Zell.."- (Renee Zellweger) lol Em's funny..

  • Anonymous

eminem has to stop with this emo rap hes only put out one good track in years and it was forever he merked all the features on that record besides that eminem needs to relapse bc his music sucks now and his lyrics/production is slacking because of his "new" mind set

    • jake

agreed with dea...you must be a youngin to call this emo..emos are just goths that cry a lot lol he's just talking about mature, grown up type shit. thats what adults do. he's always done that on the majority of all his albums except relapse which still had a very serious, real side to it. spitting from the heart is where good rappers truly shine, not with corny material bullshit.

    • DEA

ur a dumb ass. its called versatility. not to mention his lyrical game is way better now: than at any other point in his career. his verse is way sicker here than on forever. u probably don't even know what he was saying on forever.... u probably got no fucking clue what he's saying on this track either... to even make a comment like that.

  • Anonymous

I like this song but some of the stuff that slaughterhouse put out are to attract a wider audience. It seems like there doing what em did with the pop-ish single to get peoples attention, heard the album and i like it but theres not a song on there thats close to move on tat in my view was there best song to date

  • Anonymous

It just comes to a point where no one is ever satisfied with anything anymore. If you like this song, then you like it and you think it's dope. If you don't, then you don't. I don't have the time to waste going off on folks who don't recognize what hip hop is but just like art, hip hop is subjective. So to some of y'all Lil Wayne is the G.O.A.T so I can't knock you on it because that's your taste. In my opinion it's like you saying you want to eat shit over a perfectly cooked steak. or you want to drink some semen over soda. I mean i don't know man..I'm glad i'm me. This song is dope and fuck you if you disagree...BITCH!

    • UES

im listening to the album right now. it was well put together. i didnt like when i previewed it here, but it goes well with the album.. listening to albums in full is an experience i doubt most of these people posting know about.

    • UES

im listening to the album that well. i didnt like when i previewed it here, but it goes well with the album.. listening to albums in full is an experience i doubt most of these people posting know about.

  • ssg1323

slim, ur way to ahead of ur time. amazing. theres a Storm coming

  • Anonymous

i downloaded the album yesterday 8/10 very commercial sounding but it was real good

    • UES

commercial doesnt mean wack and if there is no convincing you.. oh well. they are trying to appeal to a wider audience. some tracks worked out ok. some did not. its not a classic album, but still one of the best hip hop albums this year thus far.

    • lol

ok so u say it was commercial sound but it still good? lmao ur an idiot

  • shady83

Em actually kills this!! if you listen from start to finish its far better! this is sick

    • AbsoluteMC

Dont waste your time man the YMCMB dick riders are on a level of their own. Anyone who recognizes that Em and Slaughterhouse are good for the game is a "Stan" and if they aren't rapping about the bullshit these fans like to pretend they have ( money, hoes, cars ) then its not worth their time. Let the fools be fools. Growing up is the only thing that will change it.

  • finally

Fuckk yesss ANY SlaughterHouse track is banging. PLUS an ACTUAL EM verse. HIp, Hop.

    • lol

that's how all these dickriders are lol

    • ItsTheTruth

Saying "ANY" Slaughterhouse track is banging is straight dickriding. You're the kind of Slaughterhouse fan that I hate. So you're saying the "Throw It Away" track is banging too eh? I'm a Slaughterhouse fan but I can admit when they put out half-assed shit. Fans either hate or dickride, rarely is there a middleground.

  • heekyung

honestly Throw That was kinda a disappointment I'm not talking about their skills but the message. But this...wow AMAZING. Everyone including Skylar killed it.

  • gogglebeanz96

better than most of the shit out now a days outside of black hippy, has an eerie feel and i love how eminem and slaughterhouse put a great deal of emotion into the song, plus skylar grey aint a half bad singer

  • YESSIR

YMCMB COULD DO BETTER. 16 LETTERS. IT RHYMES.

  • henrocs

really my feeling is hip hop is who spits with the feeling of realness and heart dmx eminem 2pac biggie scarface biggie big pun busta dr.dre when i listen to them i feel them ballz out

  • C-will

"I just wanna be the illest MC The same time being as real as can be" Welcome to Hip-Hop!!

Joell has the most annoying voice in the world. I'd rather see Eminem, royce and crooked in a trio.

  • Anonymous

shoutout to the early fans who understand what the dope is

  • IFLOP

SlaughterHouse needs to by pass IHOP and go to IFLOP lol. This is going to do negative numbers aka people going to be doing returns... stores are going to be sending copies back to Interscope because this crap is going to be sitting on store shelves lol. But wait...there's hope...all the true fans I'm sure will buy their old album to maybe send a message so that these guys can make get the message. Get EM's ass out of the production of your album...let Joe Budden put some of his thought provoking tracks on their....let Crooked I and Joell come with some gritty Gangsta shit and let Royce come with that 2pac sound and they have a winner. Cease and Desist the corny shit.

    • Anonymous

i dont even think there are any left koch went under .. ur lucky as fuck if u got the first one its going to be a lost gem for sure cause i dont think there stoping

  • Good Music vs Good Rhyming

It appears that this ablum is turning into nothing but good rhyming. In my opinon(if Im still entitled to one) Slaugherhouse doesn't make good music. Music that I will be listening to hear a year or even 6 months from now. They arent known for making good choruses, the message to most of their songs is what again? Not let it been known that when I see a Slaughterhouse song new released on Hiphopdx I'm quick to click that button to listen...but it's not because I know I'm going to get a good song but because I know that SH is going to say some pretty clever stuff. My issue is that that doesn't always translate to a good song. I just watch Black Hippy's,"Cut that, Chop that"(Think that's the name) and came away blown away. The way they did the song/video it was like you were actually taking a tour with them through their hood. The chemistry between those guys is top notch...makes SH's pale in comparison(rhyming wise)...I'm not saying that SH sucks...I just don't think they write good song or songs that I can relate to. For those of you that get something from this more power to you. Even though I may not listen to the album I still may buy it just to support those guys as I like their individual music and want them to succeed.

    • showcase

i think thats wat Em was trying to help them out on and maybe on the next album it will happen

    • Anonymous

As much of a fan I am of Joe, Joell, Royce & Crooked, I have to agree with you. As of now, Black Hippy's definitely on my radar.

  • AbsoluteMC

You know what makes it clear that you fucks have no idea what ur talking about? You are talking about how this song has no concept and doesnt mean anything? The concept is wanting to be the best that ever did it and how that motivates them to keep working. 4 dope verses that any aspiring artist can relate to and be inspired by. Black or white. You are fucking clueless. Jesus Christ.

    • Anonymous

If it has to be exlpained...then its not good.....did Tupac have to explain "Brendas got a Baby", did biggie have to explain "Warning" ...get my drift?

  • Quality shit here

people are talking about slaughterhouse not being popular at the moment blah blah blah first off the last 5 released slaughterhouse songs on hhdx are in the top ten most discussed songs, matter of fact thats all i need, this will easily sell 200k in the first weak and thats if interscope dont push enough copies. Slaughterhouse contains for of the greatest lyricists to ever rap and together its fucking crazy. Being such a dedicated fan i have yet to listen to the album nut i am pleased with the singles besides throw it away of course, i really dont like beats that sound like tweety bird is bout to pop out of my ear. I really hope that a shady records album comes soon, or even better just shady 2.0. Em spitting on ever track is like ear orgasms. Eminem is the G.O.A.T. and preceeds no one. i will mention that lil wayne is garb, drake is okay just too soft, and Tyga makes club hits, nikki has mad talent but is too busy being weird as shit, but thats all i can really say. P.S. im a Stan and proud to be it P.P.S. tellem suck my dick

    • datnigga

Well you already admitted you're a stan so no need to prove you right. I'm just here to tell you that if you think Slaughterhouse is going to sell 200k first week, then you're a delusional stan.

  • Bozzo

I can see where everyone is hating on the album, first listen I hated it, but after 5-6 listens it gets better as you catch all the bars, sure there are some terrible songs on this (park it sideways, walk of shame) but it is a very good album, not classic but a solid album. It's not as lyrical and beats are more mainstream but who cares there's guys been on the grind for years and on a major to so of course they'd have to have some appeal to mainstream. Btw I'm not a dickrider just my opinion

  • YADIG

THE FUCKING NERDS THAT CALL THEMSELVES "REAL HIP-HOP HEADS" ARE FAGGOT ELITISTS. 5 LETTERS: YMCMB

  • Problem

These fucks are too busy trying to sound like Em's group aka D12 2.0 as opposed to finding their own damn sound. You're fucking Slaughthouse. The need to be rapping over some DMX like beats...matter of fact. If they wanna rap about fictious killing and shit...at least make the shit sound believable. Listen to DMX...he raps about crazy shit but the beats are hard and his delivery makes the shit sound somewhat believable. Slaughterhouse have been putting up corny raps as of late and their words just feel like air and have no weight to them. Slaughterhouse...I hate to think abt ur first week sales.....20k -45k calling it now.

  • Glad I'm not white

Being able to hear how bad this song is makes me glad that Im not white and have been brain washed by my white friends. Now let me go listen to some real shit. Some 2pac and some UGK.

  • jay z

im coppin 4, one for every member..support real hiphop

  • kool herc

8/28 support real hip hop.. royce was right, niggas bitching as if they ever copped shit that came out of their pockets

  • pigface

Fire..best rap group ever fuckin invented..housegang august 28

    • kermikaze

@smokindope listen to the first SH album and new mixtape for meaningful songs douche

    • Smokin Dope

There are MANY rap groups who would beg to differ. Bone Thugs has put out WAY better songs than SlaughterHouse. Wu-Tang,Outkast,UGK,the LOX hell even Black Hippy is currently making better MUSIC than SH. Time-less music is more than just rhyming words. These groups have songs with meaning and that have withstood the test of time.

  • JAM

This is Epic best song ive heard from the album so far with hammer dance right behind it...

  • Anonymous

really not feeling the slaughterhouse album so far maybe its just me and I'm a huge slaughterhouse fan

  • shady 83

beat is wack and royce's verse is even worse! but the track is just aight, nothin special throw that is better tbh even tho there is no Em verse!

  • Slaaaaaaauuuuuughter house

This album is the shit, already downloaded it (Sorry SH couldnt wait) but im going to buy two copies on tuesday after work like back in the day, one for the crib, one for the whip. Real hip hop heads support this shit and go see these dudes live.

  • White Boy Music

This is whitey white boy shit. Ya'll think this shit is the greatest shit to hit the speakers but this shit booty. Very few people are going to buy this crap. I wouldn't be surprised if stores start sending this half baked album back to Interscope. I can't wait to see what Slaughterhouse says when they flopped harder than a fat man's belly. What are you whitey's going to say? Oh but who cares about album sales and blah blah but you should care if your fav artist does well so they can continue rapping but EM done fuck SH up. SH should've went to Good Music to get some real beats that muthafuckas wanna here instead of some bullshit circus beats that sound like they where made from a kids keyboard bought from Dollar General.

    • @White Boy Music

There's people out there that like this. Your opinion isn't set in stone. Just let the people that like this enjoy it. Stop trying to downplay other people's opinions on their musical preferences. Jesus Christ. I can't stand "real Hip Hop" fans like you. You make me sick.

"Not one so you white hip hop posers who just gravitate the this genre to be "cool" or rebell can have this spaced out bull shit." People do the same thing with Black Hippy, so...

    • Calm Down

I don't listen to Gucci nor the majority of the commerical shit but I do listen to some DJ Screw, UGK, Outkast, 8ball&MJG, 2pac, Snoop,Nate Dogg, Wu, Nas,DMX,Biggie,Slum Village, Elzhi,YelaWolf(Trunk Muzik),Big Krit, J. Cole, Black Hippy, and other artist who can pick a fucking beat and rap about something worth listening to. Everyone that I just mentioned have but out far better tracks that SH. Some might not be as techinical but you can for damn sure if I'm having a hard I can run to these guys for some inspiration and if I need something to ride out to the club to then usually they'll have something for that on their album to. Name me one fucking track that EM put out lately that you will cruise too without looking like a psycho murder? Name one Slaughterhouse track that you would bump while riding to the club to get you crunk? Not one so you white hip hop posers who just gravitate the this genre to be "cool" or rebell can have this spaced out bull shit. EM is dope but it's because of the drugs bc he sounds like shit now so miss me with the bull shit.

Keep making the same complaints about Em.. He's rambling not saying anything!! He's Screaming!!! His flow is annoying!!! He's Emo!!!! Shows me you fools didn't even listen to the verse, because he's clearly not screaming, being emo, or rambling (i know someone is going to respond with like ONE bar of him not saying much..)

this shit is doo doo #bathstall

  • For Squares

This shit is soooo hard to digest. Like aint no way in hell I'm going to bump this riding around time. This is supposed to be an emotional song or thought provoking but my ears are still bleeding from the chorus. This is some shit that so square muthafuckas will listen to. I can see some suburban kids bumping this shit thinking it's kool just because EM is on it but in truth it just sucks. Even on a technical level this crap sucks balls. SlaughterHouse needed someone other than EM to help them better build songs with concepts but no...they have EM who is just nothing but a tecnical rapper. He gets by because he is white point blank. Listen to Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs, Outkast, or any other group and come back to this shit and tell me that these guys are even in the same stratosphere. On a "I can make words rhyme together" yes. But not at making hits.

    • @Butt Hurt

Jesus Christ, who cares? Not EVERYONE likes UGK, OutKast, Wu-Tang or Bone Thugs. Get over it.

    • Butt hurt

Alot of ya'll crying and butt hurt because someone is actually talking about what ur really feeling deep down inside. And why not compare SH to Bone Thugs or Wu-Tang...doesn't it make sense for SH to trust to eclipse these acts? And all because it's 2012...why do I have to "Move On" from good music? From timeless music that actually had concepts and made u feel something. I promise you if you go listen to a UGK, Outkast, Bone Thugs, and Wu-Tang album it STILL BUMPS today because they've crafted classic albums...music that is timeless. Not some shit that only caters to one demographic that only one group of people can feel...aka WHITE PEOPLE. Growing up I remember every race rapping "Wu Tang clan aint nothing to fuck wit..." but all of hear having fits over Slaughterhouse are nerd white boys or black kids who hang around nerdy white boys and don't know no better. Stan, sing for the moment...what the fuck is that? If you going to quote some good EM sounds you need to be taking about "Cleaning out my closet" or some shit of the Marshall Mathers LP. But anyways if you can enjoy this bullshit more power to you but this bullshit is doing as much harm to hiphop as Young money's bull shit. Both YMCB and Slaughterhouse only do one thing right. YMCB has excellent production with their music and SH has good wordplay. But they both suck monkey ballz on the other elements of making a meaningful song.

    • thought dog

White people love Slaughterhouse almost as much as they love Eminem. Theyll never understand why you dont like this song.

    • Anonymous

Em raps songs about nothing??! Are you serious right now ...I know hes the biggest rapper so the hate will be there but come on now ...he's one of the most diverse MCs ever..storytelling, wordplay, freestyle ..he has he's his straight spitting tracks and deep stories ..Stan, sing for the moment, rock bottom ,and many more

    • biggg

wu-tang? bone thugs? outkast? how the fuck are you comparing them to SH? stupid kid. ofcourse they dont compare. no one said slaughterhouse is the greaatest group of all time you dip shit. but this is the closest you'll get to those you mentioned.. get off the 90's... i enjoyed them very much. ive MOVED ON

    • Anonymous

Yeah ALL Em is is a technical MC he can't put deep songs together at all!! 25 to life, your never over, going through changes, say goodbye hollywood, cleaning out my closet, rock bottom ,its ok, etc, are all him rhyming words about nothing. On a serious note its not Eminem whos bad at making non technical songs its Slaughterhouse.. although they have a few amazing ones (Raindrops, Cut You Loose)

    • ^^^^

Who cares? Some people like this. Your opinion isn't set in stone & not EVERYONE'S gonna agree with you. Face the facts. Get over it.

  • noOneCares

No one cares for the album except someone pussy deprived nerds. Aint no one checkin for Slaughterhouse with their circus music. Slaughterhouse needs raw beats with heavy bass to match their lyrical content and they need a freakin album with a concept instead of a bunch of rapping. I promise this shit wont do over 40k with EM. And all you nerds are going to be butt hurt in disbelief and find some stupid excuse to avoid facing the truth. EM didn't help SH but helped expose that as artist trying to write songs they fall WAY short.

    • BIGGG

i dont give a shit if they sell 10k or 500k first week. i enjoy this. thats priceless. everything i listen to doesnt sell like ymcb. fuck commercial music and movies and books. they make those for the small minded humans.

    • No one cares? smh

If you really don't care for this album, then why did you waste your time on an article for a group that you detest? And don't give me that "I'm entitled to my opinion" bullshit. It's common fuckin' sense to not go on a page for an artist that you don't like. Support & enjoy the shit that YOU like to listen to & let everyone else enjoy what THEY like to listen to.

If this album doesn't outsell 2 Chainz it just means all you "real fans of hip-hop" are just stealing all the music you listen to.. real supportive of "real hip-hop"..

  • anon3

Hip-Hop is dead because of the dickriding fans (haters too) that think their favorite rapper is the only rapper worth shit. You guys compare your favorite rappers to 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, etc, but all you're doing is giving them attention and keeping their name alive. This is a Slaughterhouse article, no other rappers should be mentioned. The radio won't change, MTV won't change. Fuck who's selling and who isn't, fans should just listen to who they like and let others listen to who they like.

You know...I want to LIKE SL better but I can't!!! First of all, even before they signed they've alwayz had a problem with selecting dope beats for a WHOLE PROJECT...if you don't believe me>>>listen to the projects they dropped on KOCH. I think most of the ppl who are dissapointed in this album are DISSAPPOINTED because SL went ALL OUT to please Jimmy Iovine & come up wit a bunch of radio-friendly hitz but those songs sound SO FORCED & UNNATURAL...you can't help but lose a lil' respect for these guys who flip lyrical somersaults & double entendres on whack emcees & the industry that houses them. Then first thing>>>they get signed & SL is doing the HAMMER DANCE along wit the BO JANGLES. Many of the ppl are disappointed because we grew up in a time where emcees like WU-TANG CLAN, NAS & others got signed but never BLATANTLY DID RADIO SONGS LOOKING FOR A HIT. Then as much as I don't like them...those ODD FUTURE kids in 2011-2012 breaks into the industry on some grimy YONKERS type-shit & very RADIO UN-FRIENDLY songs & BLOWS UP in their own right & they have their diehard fans & doing it well. So as corny ODD SUTURE is they PROVE they you can still come out in 2012 on some underground Hip Hop. So why did SL have to come out so HALF-ASSED with the WHOLE PROJECT. I like the emcees as SOLO ARTISTS. I used to like Ortiz but I'm not feeling nowadayz

  • Shady

No one respects real lyricists smh

    • datnigga

I don't respect "real lyricists" rapping about "throwing dicks on girls" and other d12-like gimmicks to target the teenage fanbase. I lose respect for above average lyrics when it's over below average beats, because I don't listen to songs JUST for the lyrics, I listen to the whole: Lyrics, flow, cadence, beat, replay value, etc... You can be lyrical and yet have no charisma and be a total bore to listen to (Skyzoo).

    • Anonymous

sure they do, these bums were ALWAYS cornball; using too many words per song doesn't make you 'lyrical' it means you have no fucking taste or self control.

  • atom

Im not feeling the instrumental, and not liking these new rap sound nowadays

  • Anonymous

Wasn't enjoying the album at first due to high expectations and a completely different style of production then i expected but its actually pretty good, just not near the 9/10 album that I expected. Production doesn't work perfectly with SH but its good enough. That being said Throw it away, park it sideways, and throw that should not have made the album. And who thought the chorus to flip a bird was good?? I just can't imagine that.. Our house, my life, rescue me, asylum, goodbye, coffin, and frat house are the best tracks on here. Everything else besides the other tracks that i mentioned is just decent. 7.5/10 album imo

Slaughterhouse can't seem to be able to do songs with depth in them. Eminem's verse wasn't that great either but it was the best one out the lot. Only one coming out with credit from this is Skylar Grey.

Ab-Soul was being sarcastic when he said that Black Hippy wouldn't release a group album. Kendrick already said that once each solo member blows up, they will release a Black Hippy album.

  • I've destroyed your little minds

You people are adults right? Well if you are, then stop lookin to strangers on the fuckin' Internet to justify your personal preferences when it comes to music. If your like something, support it. If you dislike something, then don't even bother look up said artist that you dislike. It's just a waste of your own damn time. I swear, the people that get extremely butt hurt over somebody bashing their favorite artist(s) are some of the most weak minded fools that you'll ever encounter. They're not comfortable with the shit that they listen to, so they have to reach for random ass morons online to get their approval. And that's extremely sad. So, in summation: If you like or dislike something, fuck who disagrees with you. Why are you worried about what people over the Internet? It's just text. If you get offended by text, then you REALLY need to harden the fuck up.

    • Lol you think you are smart

personally I really like this, eminem sounds more like his older material, and I'm one of those people that hate Recovery and love Relapse. The beat is a little distraction but a couple listens you start to get used to it. Lyrically its dope, and as im listening to it eminems doing his slim shady voice kinda. 4/5, skylar grey is perfect on this.

You feel just like how i feel for ymcmb music. The difference is, i dont listen to any of it. Never click on their music. If you hate this so much, how the fuck did you listen to 20 tracks? But wat dude said is true. It the BEATS for one. No one is going to go to the strip club and expect to see some hoes shaking their ass to EM. They're going to be playing Big Krit's "Money on the Floor" or some UGK shit with heavy bass. Everyone KNOWS that Slaughter House can rap. But they have yet to prove that they can build a cohesive song. They either have a wack hook, silly circus beats courtesy of Em, or subpar-cornball verses. Their songs are never complete through and through. I don't see how in the world u people think SH is going to sell either. They have no buzz. The only radio station that plays them is EM's Shade45. All their singles flopped. Snippets are underwhelming...you add all this up and the first week sales look like indie level numbers...as in 14-30k. If that happens I can't wait to see wat u guys have to say about that.

  • Disappointed

I'm over here jamming the SH mixtape and it's seems to be a more complete album that the actual album. This album is such a disappointment. Yes I know that SH can't just straight rap for 14 minutes straight...which is good because I want an album that has a message. What is the message that you're going to get from this album? I'm willing to beat not jack shit. How is this any different than Young Money? Black Hippy you're up next...don't let me down like SH with their commerical ish.

  • ShystyOne

Really looking forward to this album, just hopin they pick beats to match the sick lyrics. Seems a little weak on that tip, hope i'm wrong!

  • HHFAN

I think 90% of the commenters on this site are wannabe rappers who are trying to blow up or gave up on trying to blow up so they hate on whatever is on this site.

  • NAPALM

This songs ok, nothing special but a cool album track. Speaking of the album just gave it a quick listen and I'd give it a 8 overall. Surprisingly nothing like the "snippet" that was released. If you a fan of lyrics you'll definitely love this album. Production wise the majority of the tracks are average in the sense nothing really stands out like "wow, thats an ill track", but the production on this album just provide a boom bap canvas for these guys to spit over. Now my only real complaint is almost all the tracks with features, about 5 out of 7 are attempts at commercial appeal (hence the Em, Cee Lo and Skylar features.) Now will the average new jack rap fan may enjoy these shit, there wack to me. So overall a good album and enjoyable listen but next time if these guys want to create a classic they need to step outside the typical spitter roles and craft a more conceptual album.

    • ^^^

Do you have a thing for Slaughterhouse

    • Anonymous

And the "funny" this is EVERY attempt these fucking bums make to "sell out" FAILS miserably... Even if ya'll are fans of their "bars" (I'm not) you have to admit Laughterhouse have the knack of ruining it for EVERYONE. Mainstream doesn't give a shit and their fanbase only gets annoyed. (I'm ignoring the Shady street team which won't buy this album anyway.)

    • datnigga

@Yes They did not rush things at all, what are you talking about? Don't you remember this album getting pushed back several times, dating back to may? Don't forget that they made the first Slaughterhouse LP in 6 days, and to me that album is nicer. They've had lots of time, creative control, and promotion with this Shady debut, being signed to Shady Records. There's no excuses, period.

    • Yes

Finally someone that gives it a real comment... I don't think their first Shady cd was ever gunna be a classic, they had to deliver something while everyone has the name Slaughterhouse in their mouth so I think they rushed things a bit too much just to put a product out... Shit is nice, but not great... Was really hoping for great, but yeah, some of the lyrics are pretty dope though...

    • BTMoney

Agree with you, except for the commercial appeal part. At least three quarters of the album has a commercial sound beat, not only the ones with features. But it doesn't really bother me, lyrically, they're way on point and that's the thing that matters the most with these guys.

  • Brendon

If you guys don't pick up this album and 2 Chainz outsells it. Hip Hop is dead.

    • Anonymous

2 CHAINZ more personality and charisma in his cock than these four bums have COMBINED, unless you count Joell's omnipresent bag of greasy cheeseburgers as "charismatic."

    • ItsTheTruth

Hip-Hop is dead because of the dickriding fans (haters too) that think their favorite rapper is the only rapper worth shit. You guys compare your favorite rappers to 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, etc, but all you're doing is giving them attention and keeping their name alive. This is a Slaughterhouse article, no other rappers should be mentioned. The radio won't change, MTV won't change. Fuck who's selling and who isn't, fans should just listen to who they like and let others listen to who they like.

  • lmao

lol everyone is trippin so hard off this shit... "OMG THIS SUCKS BLAH BLAH EMEINEM IS WHITE BLAH BLAH HOW DARE 3 BLACK GUYS AND A RICAN RAP WITH A WHITEBOY BLAH BLAH".... holy shit please shut the fuck up... you either like the track or you don't.. if you don't like the track and see that people do, don't let it ruin your day and vise versa... you'll be alright

    • Jamez

@VS you read my mind bro

    • VS

I agree with the first post, exept I think that The Other Side is pretty fucking amazing, probably my favourite of the album, and Rescue me is dope too. Apart from that, I agree.

    • The Truth

Haha, I noticed that too. The mixtape has some boom-bap instrumentals with hardcore lyrical rapping with technical flows. The album has mainstream pop beats, commercial hooks, and just all around laziness. I don't get it.

ya'll need to go to a different site, i'm sick of all these haters on this site, no true hip hop fan should be dissin eminem at all with the impact on the game he's had. plus we should all be glad anybodys makin hip hop, cause alls I get out of these comments are "hip hop aint the same as it used to be" ...rather that than dead

  • jack johnson

the chorus is kind of dreary though, i don't know why interscope is so determined to make skylar grey a hip hop chorus person, she sounds like an emo singer and there's nothing wrong with that, but imo it doesn't suit hip hop songs

    • d

I think it's cause at the moment she can't hold a whole solo album. People ain't seen her do anything beyond a melodramatic chorus so she can't really be a solo artist and Interscope is forcing her on all their acts.

  • jack johnson

Joell killed this once again. Eminem was alright as well, what I liked about their verses is that they were kind of telling a story that you can relate to rather than just trying to be lyrical, though i still don't like that type of flow eminem does

  • Aaron Grush

    Finally a sick track!

  • space23

yo you guys hating on em's verse need to sthu!! That em verse was one of the hardest verses i've heard in a while. who spits like that today? nobody!! that was just straight spitten no gay ass club beat

  • vick

Good song. Just don't understand why em has to rap like a moron on it. Sounded like he did on "Richard" with obie trice.

  • Rhys

This is probably one of the worst Slaughterhouse tracks I've ever heard. And I'm a huge fan. Was listening to all of em way before the group and still do, but this is trash. Joell and Crook were decent. Eminem lost me after Recovery. He should retire and let us remember him as a legend instead of embarrassing himself and pissing off SH fans that wanna see them put out dope shit on a mainstream level. Pick it up Slaughterhouse. You guys are better than this.

  • KAHLON

No Hating. this Is Better Than Other Singles! But It Really Needed A Joe Budden verse! Seriously Man! And Royce Was Whack! CROOKED I MURDERED THAT SHIT!

First Slaughterhouse album on KOCH probably is better than this album from the sounds of the singles so far. They made that in a short duration of time too. Eminem has a good verse on this song but Run already told us it was his house! I still like Infinite better than any other Eminem album so I will go back to listening to that! Peace and love hip-hoppers.

    • Anonymous

Yeah their first album, even though its a whole lot of rapping bout nothing still had a refreshing sound, good bars, and atleast it had "Raindrops" and "Cut You Loose" which are tracks i still listen to today. The new album while it has good bars, its just sound wise not there...

Anyone else horribly dissapointed by the album leak? Our House, Rescue Me, My Life, Hammer Dance, Coffin, and Asylum are cool but... the rest of the tracks are either terrible (THROW IT AWAY) or just have a style of production that gets annoying after awhile, oh and nobody can forget how awful the chorus on Flip a Bird is...

    • Anonymous

Yah i said goodbye was good too above. And Flip a bird WOULD have been good, had they not put that TERRIBLE chorus on it. And yeah theres only a couple weak tracks if you look at it indivudally and overall, but when i hear like 9 tracks on an album with a style of production that is annoying, overshadows the MCs, and does not fit the feel of the song, it just doesn't work out as a whole. The album is a mess but it might be worth picking up just to listen to the songs individually.

i almost think they made it wack on purpose cause if eminem made it for his demographic all the people listening him dont know how it should sound like anyway

  • COLE WORLD

    pretty dope verse from Em

better than dat last "throw dat" track but still not amazing. I think it's hard for them to find THEIR SOUND. I feel like this album will be an experiment project gone wrong. This group is unlike anyother hip-hop group in history becuz u got 1 guy from midwest, another from westcoast & 2 from eastcoast. Other groups & duos were usually from the same area. As fans, once we seen that they were signed to Shady/interscope records, we thought that they could be a SAVIOUR for hip-hop. A big-budget label who signed actual lyricists. Hopefully the tracks that havent been leaked will be good but i dnt c that happening. Slaughterhouse & Em definelty dropped the ball on this...

he took is ball and went home

Ok so your a serious hater or you don't know anything and are plain dumb or hopefully you are trying to make people mad with that comment

    • Anonymous is stupid

Dude ur concerns are valid and I fear that the writing is on the wall. If you've heard the snippets then u have a good indication of how the album is going to be. People somehow like to think that the snippets aren't a good indications to what ur going to get but I think they're idiots. If you have 5 songs from the snippets that had wack verses or corny music...and lets say the rest of the song was good... you only have an average song because that sucky part is going to stick out like a sore thumb. So if you have ALL but except two tracks that are like that then...well you get the picture. I think the next ablum EM needs to stay his ass out of the equation because he's horrible with making RELAVENT beats. He's not Kanye or Krit.

can you not be pleased? this track was ill

  • yup

wow! slightly above mediocre...good job slaughterhouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • tonyviera

    i like it, 5 stars

  • What's going on?

How do you go from making a decent album in a week to making an unbelievably horrible sounding album(based off the snippets) in how many months? I mean "throw it away"...garbage...stupid hook the whole nine yards...same thing with the other singles. How on earth can you call this shit right here real? Because they rhymed some shit together and got good flow? What happened to a rapper actually talking about something? What did they say on this track to make you be like,"Damn, I can relate to that?" And don't give me that, "Well every song on the album can't be like that" because...once again based off the snippets it was maybe one or two songs that might be talking about something. Bascially wat EM did was gear Slaughterhouse up to cater to HIS demographic which consists of mostly white folk. Fuck the race card its THE facts. Black people don't get down with EM on an everyday tip like that. Before EM they would listen to Big Krit, J.Cole, or K. Dot because they have beats that fit in with their culture. The problem is...EM is white so that shit registers with them coming from a white guy. You got 4 black guys(p. rican same thang) rapping about shit that a white guy will get a pass for saying. White much less Black people are going to buy what Slaughterhouse is saying when the subject matter is on some EM shit. Hell look at Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel. I loved the album. How many black people bumped it? How may white people knew who Royce was after that album? The answer to both questions is not many at ALL. Plain and simple...EM's formula isn't going to work for SH and they're going to flop this go around. Yelawolf who actually made a GOOD album should've got the push that slaughterhouse got...and the funny thing is his ablum was/is more urban that SlaughterHouses's. I hope they sell well just because I really like the guys as individuals but I really think they must up sigining with EM. They should've gotten down with GOOD MUSIC or Def jam.

Listen man Em is a lyrical beast and one of the most respected rappers in the rap game black or white ..I know plenty of black folks where I'm from that bump him and consider him up there at that top ..the guy that said your wrong on so many levels is right ..you may know your hip hop but your wrong on this one ..and how about you go back and listen to Ems first 4 albums it's all straight hip hop with little to no suburb or typical pop shit theres nothing but raw real rhymes .

    • Fuck wrong with u

Yelawolf's ablum was set up better for radio play. SH's album based off of the snippets is horrible. I live in houston..but I'm from Mississippi and I can assure you that SH aint bumping there. No radio station is playing their music. I have friends in the D(Detriot) and they don't even know a SlaughterHouse and they get no radio play...why you think Royce had that line on the mixtape about getting no radio play? So no...there's nothing wrong with me partna. Check yo self. I know my hiphop from old ol' dirty south music(UGK,Outkast,8ball MJG) to the East coast(WU Tang,Nas, Big L) to the Mid West(Bone Thugs,Twista) to the West Coast(Pac,Kurrupt,Snoop,Nate Dogg) and this shit right here aint what it do. You can't feel their shit. It's synthetic. And if you can feel it ur fake as fuck too.

    • HAHA I am...and getting faded.

At above...you made me laugh. Ya man I'm heated because I really cut for SH and always talked about why they should've been on the radio and blah blah. And now that they got they're time to shine it's like they can't even craft a good song...meaning a catchy hook...meaningful, thought provoking lyrics and a good beat. It's either one or the other or half of one. It's frustrating..so frustrating that I'm looking to black hippy for good music as opposed to SH.

you're so wrong on so many levels. your whole race argument is irrelevant. lots of people, no matter what their race is, bump em on the regular along with other artists. he's considered one of the best of all time. and then you go on to say yelawolf's album was good (it was average at best), and that it was an urban album (are you serious? that shit was pop as hell). the fuck is wrong with you?

^ this nigga is highly upset

  • the grza

the beat and hook feels too much like Recovery for me. lyrics are solid. overall just okay.

    • Anonymous

you must be joking. just cause it has skylar grey doesn't mean it sounds like recovery. this sounds nothing like recovery
