Really slick flow. Nice track.
Sounds like a Missy Elliot joint..
I feel like when she did 212 it was original, unique and cool.
But this feels generic as shit. Like the label told her to do this. If not, shes just a one hit wonder.
She can rap but she needs to stop fucking with these funky house beats. That shit sounds weird and the uk left It alone about a year ago.
cosign 2nd anon. this is her style fuck what is "in"
There's still a scene that messes with house music, and you never know she could end up kicking of a resurgence. This is the difficulty when an artist wants to lead and not go down the tried and over trodden road of trap beats or traditional American hip hop. As long as she keeps doing her she will be fine. People will catch up soon enough.
I like the experimentation and the willingness to be adventurous, hopefully her fans will appreciate her house/dance/techno/soulful vibes and I really like her flows, but for most hip hop heads this will go right over their heads as its not strictly hip hop in the purest sense but a genre bending juxtaposition of 90s house and soul fused with fast spitting. It will take an open mind to appreciate it. I just feel that it could have ended better and it lacks real structure as it seems to go all over the place. Could be a grower, definitely interested to hear more. I prefer her over Azalea because theirs more credibility and authenticity that I get rather than a tacky, Strang rachet type approach that Azalea sometimes gives off. 3/5
First song from bitch I heard... not at all impressed.
