If attitude was record sales… Webbie would be platinum. He’s been writing rhymes since he was five with influences that include the Geto Boys, 2Pac, Eazy E, Snoop Dogg, 8Ball & MJG, UGK, and Scarface.

Following in that street thug genre the young Baton Rouge native hits listeners in the face with a raw, uncut ghetto party album…that basically calls for smokin’ good, drankin’ good, ballin’ and stompin anybody that fucks with you and yours.

Webbie was signed to Pimp C‘s Trill Entertainment before he got his driver’s license and recorded two albums for the label: 2003’s Ghetto Stories and 2004’s Gangsta Muzik, both with fellow Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie who appears on Webbie’s freshman outing Savage Life.

If you ain’t heard Give Me That yet featuring Bun B (he errywhere!) then get out of the closet because the cut is errywhere and is the most radio friendly cut on the album. How You Ridin’ is a parking lot pimping song with the best of ’em and will get much play throughout the summer and fall in rides and clubs alike….On the cut Bad Bitch Lil Webbie works his hand and the remix with Trina is tight.

Other features and guest collabs include Mannie Fresh on Come Here BitchShow Me You Want It with BG and U Don’t Want It featuring Lil Boosie and Big Head. For a first out the gate debut CD…Webbie holds his own and sounds like he’s been at this for a minute and with 17 tracks, you can definitely find something.
